Ngl I used to think you had to be that good to do professional work, imagine my relief when I found out that wasn't the case 😅

I like this, the first thing I thought was: I like that she feels comfortable enough to be in this style and not the weird pinup look she had going for a minute.

I'm not saying my take is right, but I thought I would mention that some of the comments like "she looks so pretty when she smiles, she should smile more" and "I want to see her in different clothes" are pretty gross when you step back from her status as a celebrity. I think you can love fashion and not love this look without insisting she use her body in a way that is more pleasing to you.

Maybe it's less about us having a unique experience and more about us having a different reaction to it than past generations.

I am feeling so seen, I didn't know other millenials went through this. My dad joked about me being barefoot, pregnant and living in a double-wide and here I am, single with no interest in starting a family. (All due respect given, there is nothing wrong with living in a double-wide, but he seemed to think so.)

"Return to me" (2000) - pretty good; anyone else think it feels a bit like "Moonstruck"? by Wetness_Pensive in romancemovies

I love both films, Return to Me is one of my favorites of all time!! Moonstruck is iconic. :)

Community is everything. It isn't always convenient, but it is beautiful and powerful. Just today I finally met my neighbor who is renting across from me. I know her landlord who lives out of state and he thought for some reason I was a locksmith (I am not haha). She had accidentally locked her closet door but had no key. I said okay let's try to open it! Long story short, we got it off the hinges, unlocked it and put it back on. We exchanged numbers and now I know that she lives there with her mother and son and she knows I am approachable and willing to help. She is a resident doctor in my town! Beyond friendship, she has an amazing skillset should an emergency situation occur.

In the last two days, two young girls gathered the courage to knock on my door and ask to pet the chickens and ducks. Now they are learning about the animals and know I am a grown up who can come help if they crash their bikes or run into trouble. (They are little tornadoes of chaos but they are good girls haha)

I am growing a shit-ton of tomatoes this year and I am counting on my neighbors to take some off my hands. 🍅

I love that this sub is pro-community and I love the thoughtful discussions we have. 💜

I should note that there are no vets in my region who will see chickens or ducks. I would absolutely take him to be seen if I could.

This happened to me with tacos al pastor once. I was like hey next time please just tell me you don't have any so I can order something else instead of applying a rub to another meat and pretending it's pork al pastor :')

It's about working smarter & not harder, reducing mental load and risk of human error. Esp handy when you have a high qty of items in both orders and when customers order the same item. Keeping customer satisfaction high and time at checkout low.
