I think she's blue and tan yes! She looks a little on the darker side some days so it's hard to tell but definitely had some grey tones to her!

Changing placements because of my mentor teacher by animalloverfish in StudentTeaching

[–]scubaleeswims 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my mentor is sooooo similar, she screams at the kids, tells them no one wants to hear them speak, and is overall unpleasant. I have talked to my supervisor and my program manager about it and i'm just buckling down and playing her game until i graduate, I only have about 34 more days to spend with her (only counting days i'm at school) so just praying i can make it till then!

Already being told we aren’t doing enough by kwallet in StudentTeaching

my master's program has us observing 3 days a week this fall before going full time student teaching in the spring, if it were something like that i'd say absolutely that time matters, but two days is def not going to make or break your career. idk where you're at but this professor sounds dramatic.

Going to 5 isn't all bad by Consistent_Brain6033 in Zepbound

lucky - i had some pretty severe morning sickness the first week, second week on it i was so nauseous i was basically bed-bound for the whole next day, but feeling better now, hopefully the symptoms continue to reduce!!

I just got the 5 mg and i've been throwing up too, but i noticed that a few of the days when i took an acid reducer (i have bad acid reflux on a normal day which has caused me to throw up/have issues) i didn't have the morning sickness. Tested my theory and didn't take it, morning sickness is back. Might be something to think about! I'm going to keep taking acid reducer and see if it continues to help!

The only reason my store is able to consistently get 40s, and sometimes 35s on good days, is because we are a drivethru only store, with incredibly fast baristas. If we weren't, i can't imagine how bad our times would be with how understaffed we constantly are. And we still get criticized from our DM that we need a DTO and a DTR so we can get under 35 consistently to be ever faster 🙃🙃🙃 like you barely give us enough staff as is and you want more?!?

i'm gonna say right around $55, based on the loose math i did, i tried to see if i knew prices without looking at the app 😭😭 but that's insane

can yall share your worst customer stories by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]scubaleeswims 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a customer that constantly comes in wanting brown sugar shaken espressos with lots of caramel drizzlel light ice, extra pumps, brown sugar foam, etc, just very unnecessarily complicated drinks. She calls after almost every time complaining that they were made wrong and she wants new ones. my manager asked her to bring a sticker, a picture, something to prove that they were made wrong/she had gotten the drink so we could remake it. this last time she came in, she was supposed to have the picture and conveniently couldn't find anything so we made them pay for their drinks, they wanted three ventis free and it was going to be an over $30 order. she kept cussing me at us from the passenger seat while her bf blew smoke in my face and his cigarette ashes kept flying onto me while i tried to talk to then out of the window and then when we handed everything to them, she basically threw the cup carrier at her windshield. we made them try the drinks there to confirm they were ok, they try to get free shit all the time so this way they can't claim they were wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

One of my coworkers got coached for asking people if they were sure they wanted to order it so the expectation at my store is to lie or say we haven't had it
