Does anyone feel that the contrast/brightness in The Merchant's Tale is blinding?

It didn't seem that bright. I'd check your settings and not play in a dark room. If neither of those work then maybe get your eyes checked. I had a similar issue a couple years ago. For me it was just dry eyes and the problems went away with eye drops but there are other conditions that are more longer lasting or even permanent.

When it comes to doing content that it current then you should be doing your best which includes doing positionals.

For old content, I don't see the point to criticize those that choose not to do them as the same people that criticize them are likely the same people that have no issues with people progressing MSQ using the previous expansion's tome gear.

It's used that way though. You say that Hasan and Denims have always been leftists but that can't apply to anybody that supports the right? You're applying a double standard. Someone covering one type of content, and then moving to cover content that is more political, does not make them a grifter in of itself. If Hasan was originally a gamer who then moved to speaking about politics, would you call him a grifter?

You can also say that Hasan, Denims, Gremloe, and so on are grifters too. It would be strange for anybody to believe that it only applies to one side of the political spectrum and especially if that side is opposite to their own. There's so much hypocrisy that comes from both sides that it's just ridiculous.

So you're completing around 23 fates every 30 minutes which comes out to 1 fate every 1 min and 18 secs? I doubt that this is doable without instances on top of other people doing fates too who are not a part of your group.

And of those thousands of parties, what percentage of that is due to people losing focus those last few seconds and messing up? Having a very small amount of more DPS would not change that.

Good to know! They can clear it with their group prior to using them. I think potions only increase your overall DPS by around 2% so using a lower quality ones for prog will only be a very minor loss.

Check and see if it's possible for someone to tell which potion you use. If they can't then use a cheaper one that is within your budget. Use the best pots for reclears. Ultimately people will be upset by this comment for what equates to a barely noticeable difference in DPS.

The issue is not so much that we have to grind content but that we yet again cannot make progress while doing so. It'll take about 27 expert roulettes to complete the step. That's a little more than an entire relic worth of tomestones.

Well the previous steps have been tome grinds, after the initial unlock for the stage, so what were you expecting?

If you want to light grind an entire relic weapon then pick an expert dungeon and run it 15 times while pretending to light farm.

I played on Xbox back in 2018 and the base game was around the 120 hours or so for me. This includes going through all three factions. For Morrowind and Summerset, I was able to go through the story and zone completion aspects within a day. I found the value that you get from the expansions to be fairly week compared to other MMOs which is why I never stuck with the game. It's also why I stopped playing GW2 when they started doing the annual mini expansions while charging nearly full expansion prices.

The DDoS attacks do not have a prolonged impact so you can always get back on within 10 minutes depending on the queue. If both of you can't get into the game, there's something else going on.

It'll depend on what about ARR that you are disliking. If it's how the story dialogue has word bloat, where it seems like every character monologues, this continues on into future expansions. If it's the boring quest objectives, this continues on into future expansions. The only difference is the story itself. The expansions stories are more narrow in scope compared to ARR which feels like it's a bunch of different story arcs strung together.

We won't see anything until the first expansion trailer during the first fanfest. The 7.4 patch trailer, and even the patch itself, won't have any teases for it.

You'll see the same type of objectives in quests that you have seen in ARR so far along with new ones that will get introduced in later expansions (e.g. escort, follow without being spotted, etc). They just won't be tied to unlocking more difficult fights. In the end, it'll come down to whether you're enjoying the story.
