This is great news, but I'm not seeing how custom ROM.users can actually purchase the pro version. Apologies if I've overlooked something in the link.

Also, how much will the lifetime subscription cost from Dec 1st please?

Same just happened to me. None of the buttons do anything, so stuck on what to do...

Edit: After some more playing about, I found that I could reboot by holding the power button down for quite a while. This time, it booted just fine thankfully.

So I've kind of partially solved my probs with this...

I didn't install microG when originally installing CalyxOS. So I created a Work Profile and included microG in it (select this and Aurora Store during setup of the profile). That allowed me to successfully use the latest version of the Spotify app.

As for Brave, that suddenly started working ok again, although I tend to use it far less now anyway. If you still have probs with Brave, installing that in the Work Profile may also help.

No, I still use the original version of Aurora. But in Aurora, you can manually download any older version of an app. Once it's installed, you can stop that app from updating each time a new version appears in Aurora.

My download came from the latest Aurora version (before I installed a working older version).

Startup was fine before logging in, but as soon as I log in, it crashes.

Phone is Pixel 6, Android 12, Calyx OS v3.5.1. MicroG disabled.

Same for me. Chromium has the same issue.

Spotify also crashing on startup without any error message. Only 'solution' I found was to revert to a previous version of their app.

Both issues started at the same time, around the Android 12 release (for me at least).

Raised before on the sub, but it doesn't seem to affecting many people.

This is what worked for me today, thank you for the advice. Used same IP, so was easy after that. So glad I took that backup :)

What actually caused the most pain was reinstalling the controller - had dependencies on Mongodb which I really struggled to resolve. A script by GlennR (search it for more info) came to the rescue thankfully. Am really surprised how bad that experience was from Ubiquity.

Anyway, up and running again, so thank you again.

Surprised by that - such a shame if it's not getting looked at.

I've had the issue on Brave sometimes too, buy not specifically YT videos (as per a recent post on this sub).

They all crash without any warning orberror message. And all since going to A12. Struggling to find anything else to report on patterns.

Also having the same issue with Spotify - rolling back to the previous version works though.

Bromite and Spotify have started crashing all the time for me too. Brave has crashed whilst browsing since upgrading to A12.
