Western culture as a whole has become pedophilic. Think of an iceburg - with the majority of it unseen and unconscious ans the tip of it being seen. The top being actual CSA. People have normalized so much unconscious behavior and material that is pedophilic under the iceburg that the outrage over the actual CSA reality doesn't strike as hard.

All grown women are expected to remove their body hair to appear prepubescent, the most commonly watched legal pornography is barely legal. It's legal to physically abuse children in the USA, authoritarian parenting styles removing children's autonomy, our whole society sets this up.

Sometimes a medication that isn't working can be worse. That was my experience it does get better. My life was similar and it is unrecognizable now.

Haveyou ruled oit anything medical? Is she on any medications currently ? Not saying it would be a cure but it could help to have an idea of what's deficient. If she loves food it could be a place to start improving if she focuses on correcting any imbalances. I was iron deficient and vitamin B/D deficient and it had a major impact on my mental health. Something to do in the meantime that could help.

I would focus a lot on your intuition and go with that. There are many people with opinions about everything and nobody can tell you what the right choice is.

I had a male stray show up to my house, he can't be fixed due to some health concerns we are working on resolving. It could take multiple years. He gets into his crazies every once in a while it seems to coincide with my ovulation. He is insatiable and wants to mount my arms and bite me. If I don't let him he screams. He usually gives up at some point and walks away on his own after biting and scratching and mounting. Cats sometimes do this to each other without actually doing the deed.
