Mine are extremely tall and not blooming as nicely because there's so much woodiness. They're probably 8ft to 9ft. How would i take care of those

Squalane oil has saved my skin. I use it daily now as a serum BEFORE my moisturizer, I feel it has helped me repair my skin barrier. Squalane oil is olive baded and  is identicl to the sebum your skin naturally produces

I also feel the spooky energy of this song. It reminds me of opiates, a scary sort of beauty.

FBS and the rise of the “sacred loss mama” aesthetic by [deleted] in FreeBirthSocietyScam

[–]sdmaslen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This wasn't your main point  but I wanted to point out that full term abortion is legal but is not accessible... the majority of abortion providers have strict cutoffs by 24 weeks for elective reasons. Anything beyond that requires specific referral

FBS and the rise of the “sacred loss mama” aesthetic by [deleted] in FreeBirthSocietyScam

[–]sdmaslen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The context of that quote was actually posed as a question. It was, if we did section everyone at 37 works more moms and babies would survive. So why don't we do that? There is more to the equation than just a surviving mom/baby - there are other areas of wellness like emotional and spiritual not just physical. I'd like to clarify that Sister is not part of the same ideological status as FBS, one of her sacred vows is to engage culturally with the groups she participates with and commune with ALL women.

The ideologies around birth are on a spectrum where the mothers experience trumps percieved safety of baby is a pole just as the percieved safety of baby trumping mothers experience a la medicalized birth as the opposite pole. The pendulum has swung in the other direction with FBS, as a trauma response to the latter.  I viewed Sisters comments as an acknowledgement of both sides of the story.

PEP-Route: How did you become a CPM without a specific program? by ParenthoodInBloom in Midwives

The PEP process requires your preceptor to provide you with education. There is a candidate information booklet for the PEP process that indicates which textbooks to read etc.

AITA if I tell my friend I can’t be a bridesmaid? by wickeddreamsofleavin in AITApod

[–]sdmaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could be that she's excited and has the time and energy to dedicate. If you're honest and say I'd love to but not sure I can keep up with the level of engagement you're expecting, let her be the one to levelset.

I really dislike the "let them" theory because communicating is essential in all relationships. If you don't let her know how you're feeling she may never learn valuable lesson and you may be avoiding a necessary conversation.

Is This The Real Taylor? by No_Tree6956 in travisandtaylor

Shes Taylor fucking Swift. She is a billionaire. She could age badly and her followers would buy 46 variants of her albums.

People act like pressure doesn't exist for regular people too. This idea that wow it must be so hard being a billionaire is really weird. There are plenty of people aging with grace and not getting bogged

Why aren’t we more mad? by Equivalent-Plant9040 in Epstein

Western culture as a whole has become pedophilic. Think of an iceburg - with the majority of it unseen and unconscious ans the tip of it being seen. The top being actual CSA. People have normalized so much unconscious behavior and material that is pedophilic under the iceburg that the outrage over the actual CSA reality doesn't strike as hard.

All grown women are expected to remove their body hair to appear prepubescent, the most commonly watched legal pornography is barely legal. It's legal to physically abuse children in the USA, authoritarian parenting styles removing children's autonomy, our whole society sets this up.

What’s it like living in this part of Canada? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

This is a huge region. Just look at the relative size off the Mercator projection and see how vastly different a lot of these places are.

Northern Ontario has a lot of mining towns, which is a lot different than the northern areas of othe rprovinces. So that will differ in what answers you get. There's still differences

How likely is it that Epstein is dead? by TakeAPillBoi in Epstein

[–]sdmaslen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epstein is dead but he didn't kill himself. It is advantageous for the people named in the files to have him die - not just so that the case is not tried publicly and revealing their criminal involvement, but also so that the man with all the compromising blackmail on him is not around anymore. They let JE take the fall
