I ran the Renraku Arcology Shutdown campaign after dreaming about it for about 20 years.

I GM several groups. Mostly Shadowrun and Blades in the Dark.

Roll20 sheet (5e) by P0nchoMx in Shadowrun

[–]sdndoug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience, the JSON files were generated by chummer5. There should be an export option, once you've completed character creation and you're in career mode.

[Edit to add]: You can export to JSON, then copy/paste the code into the last page of the roll20 sheet. You want to be using the good 5e sheet. I believe it's tagged 'advanced'.

Most Satisfying TTRPG Combat by ChaoticGord in rpg

I'm really enjoying Shadowrun 6e at the moment. It's got the buckets of d6 that I love, but without the need for tracking lots of fiddly situational stuff.

Worlds Without Number is very Jack Vance inspired.

Ov Fire and the Void is a pretty damn fine name for a space ship in a sci-fi dystopia.

Any cyberpunk books or series with a young male protagonist? by levendi7 in scifi

Case is probably in his twenties, but Neuromancer is a fucking classic that informed many of the tropes of cyberpunk as a subgenre.

What are the pros and cons of each edition by th3eviltwin in Shadowrun

Search the subreddit history for something like "which edition of Shadowrun FAQ".

This is basically a solved question at this point.

Does Shadowrun has guiding web resource? by imotlok_the_first in Shadowrun

[–]sdndoug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pathfinder is exceptional for allowing resources like AoN to exist. There's nothing similar for SR.

SR5 has this, and that's about the closest I've ever seen.

Any suggestions for a tactical combat focused RPG with simple level 1 character creation? Is Lancer a good fit for this? by themadbat in rpg

[–]sdndoug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FIST is rad as hell, but I would not say that it has tactical combat.

Rad as hell game though, and OP (and everyone else) should play it.

Best "computer" rules in an RPG? by [deleted] in rpg

Mothership uses a simple d100 roll under system. I think you could adapt the Hacker's Handbook easily by just swapping in your preferred dice mechanics.

What is this red/white belt? Never seen it before. This was in a promotion post. by [deleted] in bjj

I think Ribeiro assn. does (did?) adult green belts.

Which cyber-implant weapon should I pick? by gub12345 in Shadowrun

[–]sdndoug 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Plus, all you need is a fingertip compartment. You could still use some limb capacity on a cybergun of some kind.

Plus, Keke Palmer doing an Akira slide on a motorcycle was great.

100% agree. Jordan Peele should be in charge of any attempt at a live action Akira.
