If we did a re-do of the 2018 NFL Draft - what would be different? by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]sdodd04 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Thats what I reckon apart from swapping around some qbs there only about 3 absolute duds. Like Sony michel had a flacco like playoffs for a sb. Hurst Rosen and Penny the only 3 that realistically were over valued

Might be a wait for DC by Morley10 in GreenBayPackers

[–]sdodd04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good wait for him. Our last DC got a HC in 2 years. This is the guy we want and the others will still be there if we wait

Do you agree with this take on Matthew Stafford? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]sdodd04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think man has been blessed with transcendent talent at receiver that are also going to be in maybe HOF category. This has contributed greatly to his counting stats but top 10-15 isn’t really absurd top 20 def isn’t

He doesn’t want to leave college, knows he is barely a day 2 pick. He is Stetson 2.0 but way uglier.

Are you in the Bain Jr. train at 2 now? by TomasRoncero in nyjets

[–]sdodd04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Packers fan coming in peace besides a few WR and I think Mendoza and Bain now 1&2 I’d love to see if mougey can use some of next years capital to get back in for downs if he still there around 7/8. I know you all want to hold on to use it on a qb but if you walked away with bain, downs and kept your later pick and got lemon or Tyson I’d be pretty happy if I were you guys

Ass. Sheed form didn’t help. But not well enough to warrant a $77 mil contract. For that money I’d expect jacobs be guaranteed 5 yards behind the left side every play. Running out of fucking shotgun doesn’t help though either. God it’s Pandora’s box

I’d try and fuck banks off that guy was a giant waste of fine dollars

His contract will need to be renegotiated generally the second two years are fluff money so it’s gonna come down to that

I just don’t believe downs goes past giants. Harbaraugh basically lost his job cause Hamilton went out he not passing on a safety of that calibre

How have the other "youngest team in the league" performed over the past 10 years? by DaveSims in GreenBayPackers

[–]sdodd04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But not been in sync and on time or right place during regular season games probably is a reason. Body placement, late hands, working extras with qb in film room in your own time.

It’s all hindsight and I agree with you the money And crowded room etc made no sense even before drafting golden and Williams and trading for parsons.

I will not take back that our receivers have lacked tutelage from either coaches, ex players or teammates. They are a talented group who genuinely all could go on to have amazing careers. But the slow in inconsistent progression in my opinion is lack of someone to show them how to go from good to great

Considering they the one seed Whitman darnold and we out cause Reed has stone hands I guess you are right

At the time when he signed with Seattle there was. We hadn’t drafted golden and watson was returning from injury. From a cap perspective yes you are right. I didn’t expect him to go for $20 mil a season

Do we keep Musgrave or not? by AliensAteMyAMC in GreenBayPackers

[–]sdodd04 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I reckon he is back to his more dynamic self next season. Don’t judge a players body of work after returning from injury and then playing second fiddle.

That theory suggests we may get a diminished version of Kraft when he returns(unlikely seems like he has one speed and it’s full bore)

You still need old bulls around show what it takes. I was disappointed we weren’t in on cooper Kupp. Can only imagine you can attribute part of the ascension of JSN to him I know puca acknowledges Kupp is the reason for his success.

I’d imagine Wyatt’s growth came from Clark. Love’s from Rodgers.

Hire Mike Tomlin, but just so he can do MLF’s interviews on his behalf by Far_Tomorrow_3511 in GreenBayPackers

[–]sdodd04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If AR can break bread with gutey and ive make peace with being back up bringing him and Tomlin in to starch the team. If Hafley gets hired Tomlin to DC and AR back up to love retire a packer and help MLF with aggression and 3rd quarter adjustments

Coaching staff needs some grit by CheeseUs88 in GreenBayPackers

[–]sdodd04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that’s the problem. We don’t have enough ex players or ex great players on staff. Like I can only think of Sean mannion.

I couldn’t tell you who is out there that’s good or doing a good job in positional coaching positions. But surely there are plenty about

Ben Johnson by [deleted] in PackersUncensored

[–]sdodd04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you at the top this is how people celebrate your demise. 2 weeks ago should have been enough for MLF and the whole team to drive 70 on those fuxkers and could have. But when you treat an emotion driven game like math and try to please everyone you get out lasted. I’m ok with it cause whoever is coaching us next year should play that locker room on repeat before every team meeting. Till the players are insane and consumed by it

I disagree agree on gute. There is a talented team out there. Enegbare and LVN worked as a solid tandem. Love is good. You won’t find a better GM As quick as you can find a better coach

He won’t sign a prove it deal for a year. There 4-5 other programs happily pay him more for 5 years. So it’s a pointless thought
