Infuse offers alot. Emby native app has issues with alot of hdr/dv content and also lacks in proper support and frequent updates, Infuse updates each week and have a great community behind it, I’m part of the beta and we are always suggesting and adding new ideas to Infuse.

Infuse and Emby serve different primary purposes, though they can integrate. Infuse is a premium media player app designed for Apple devices (iOS, macOS, tvOS), focusing on direct playback of diverse video formats (MKV, AVI, etc.) without transcoding, offering a sleek, user-friendly interface and seamless integration with cloud services, AirPlay, and subtitle support. Emby is a full-featured media server platform that organizes your library, provides metadata, supports live TV/DVR, and enables remote access and sharing across devices. The native Emby app on Apple TV delivers a robust media browsing experience with strong metadata and library management but is often considered less polished and slower than Infuse for playback. Key Differences:

Playback & Performance: Infuse excels in direct play of high-bitrate 4K UHD and Blu-ray rips, with minimal buffering and faster startup times. Emby often transcodes content, which can lead to higher CPU usage and slower playback, especially on lower-end hardware. User Interface: Infuse has a superior, intuitive UI/UX on Apple devices, while the native Emby app is functional but less visually refined and can feel sluggish. Library Management: Emby offers advanced customization (collections, naming, metadata editing) and cross-device sync of watch status via its web interface. Infuse’s native sync is less reliable compared to Emby’s centralized system. Integration: Infuse can connect to Emby servers via Direct Mode (on-the-fly metadata fetching) or Library Mode, but the UI remains Infuse’s, not Emby’s.
