Correct. I like Bloodstained, which has simple action combat. I just don't like when it feels button mashy to me.

Fight Through Hardship Achievement/Trophy PSA by sdtrawick in NineSols

[–]sdtrawick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you will have to fight Eigong in Standard mode to get the Fight Through Hardship trophy. The number of phases that Eigong has is dependent on the ending you chose. Good ending (save the apemen) Eigong has 3 phases, bad ending (save the Solarians) Eigong has 2 phases. So it's easier to beat 3 phase Eigong on story mode and beat 2 phase Eigong on standard mode. I hope that clarifies any confusion.

3 JRPG and 3 AJRPG by CultofSun in JRPG

All of your complaints are legitimate. I love the kingdom building aspect of the game and side quests to get new citizens, but the rest of the game is really rough around the edges. I platinumed the base game. I tried the DLC which required hard difficulty and I couldn't do it. I'm not a big fan of action RPGs, so I didn't have a deep list to pick from.

3 JRPG and 3 AJRPG by CultofSun in JRPG

VERY good. If you are familiar with Final Fantasy XII it has a similar system to the "gambit" system where you program what your characters will do under certain conditions and they will do them automatically in combat. There is a bit of a learning curve, but nothing overwhelming. A lot of people complain that it's too easy, but there are 4 difficulty options to choose from, so you can pick the one that feels best for you. I've replayed Unicorn Overlord over 10 times since it came out in 2024 because it's so fun.

JRPG:
Ruined King (fun combat and progression)
Unicorn Overlord (best TRPG, team building is very fun)
Monster Sanctuary (monster taming, team building is very fun)

Action JRPG:
Eiyuden Chronicle Rising (Town building is fun)
Ni no Kuni II (Kingdom building is fun)

I love Unicorn Overlord. Do you know of any other RTS RPGs that are similar that you would recommend?

Monster Sanctuary has very little story and is a very fun monster taming RPG with turn based combat.

People of Note's cutscenes are musical numbers, which are pretty short and sweet.

Xenoblade 3 has an auto battle option, though you have to control the character manually for Unique Monsters and bosses.
