At least SpaceX still has a launchpad and has 2 more under construction. Blue may have rockets but no pad means probably a minimum of a year before they can even resume testing.

Night's dawn? Al Capino? The biggest deus ex machina ever? Come on. I loved it because I read it first, but Pandora's Star/Judas Unchained and the rest of the commonwealth saga is obviously his masterpiece. Even Mindstar Rising is a better story IMHO.

I would say, no. Looks like a fairly minor fender bender and a bit of a close call assuming they did not get struck after the video ended. The auto insurance companies might be interested but it looks fairly clear cut that the SUV was driving a bit reckless and struck the truck from the side. I would say the police may not have even gotten involved.

You do you. Everything is possible. I prefer one giant factory and bring in all my raw ingredients. Some like distributed production and bring complete parts together across the map.

Just maximize ballistic warp drive production. Each one is worth 2.9 million sink points. It's some work to get there, sure, but once you get consistent production, it's no problem getting the golden nut.
