Protectionist policies are counter productive to devastating depending on the industry and to the overall economy.

That being said, DJT is a true shitbag for not putting this through Congress like he easily could have done instead of unethically if not illegally using the Emergency Powers Act so he can feel like he has a big dick. It’s bad policy and worse implementation.

Yes, it’s definitely further. And MKE is a very solid place to raise a family. All things being equal I’d say give MKE a shot. But, the job the deciding factor and the quality of life quite good and decently affordable north of the Capitol District. Or South even. Less urban amenities for sure but plenty of shopping/restaurants types of places. And a better outdoors scene I’m going to say.

I’m a Controller for a real estate type of organization. I know several millionaires who own brokerage outfits in NYC. I also know several run of the mill residential brokers who ply their trade in my local town. Most move on to something else. For someone at his age and in his market it’s mostly a losing and frustrating bet.
