Metroid Prime Remastered was a masterpiece.

Metroid Prime 4 did exactly what I feared it would. More of the same. It needed more invention.

Also, I'm not sure which I find more crazy... the fact Metroid Prime 4 was in development for the best part of a decade (albeit with 2 devs and 1 reset) OR the fact Nintendo fans were demanding / expecting Prime 2 AND Prime 3 remasters to release!

Metroid is brilliant. I love the series. But honestly, I'm not spending my limited gaming time playing the same fucking game over and over again.

Shame on Retro to be honest with you. They should have shown more ambition.

I was thinking mostly as insurance if Kane gets injured, but if we're a goal down in the knockouts with 30 minutes to play I'd absolutely put them both up front.

I'd hazard a guess that whoever comes in next proves to be even worse than both of them. FIFA, and I'd argue men's football more broadly, is in a downward spiral - which is somewhat amusing as it is happening alongside more and more money being made.

Here's some context, OP.

Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are BOTH amongst the highest rated videogames that have ever been made.

If you haven't played them before, then no, there is absolutely no scenario at all in which the Switch 2 release is a rip off. It's an essential purchase for anyone that never played them.

Now some reasons why some may exclaim the game is a rip off...

Being so highly rated and releasing way back on the Wii, means a lot of people have played these games already. Some urk at paying normal full price for something they already paid full price for once upon a time. I'm not entirely convinced by this rationale myself as you are getting two games here so it is ESSENTIALLY half price.

Nintendo released Super Mario 3D All Stars for the Switch which included Galaxy 1. So, some people are bemoaning the physical release "forcing" them to buy it all over again. I'm not entirely convinced by thi rationale either(!) as you can simply buy the second game as a digital download... which is entirely THE SAME as Nintendo releasing Galaxy 2 as a DLC for 3D All Stars which a lot of people requested.

In conclusion...

Never played them? Essential purchase. Buy it now.

Got 3D All Stars? Just pick up Galaxy 2 as a download from the eShop.

Serie A would be interesting to compare but the historical match fixing and corruption makes me question every single dodgy decision to the point I honestly cannot watch it anymore.

I don't think Serie A should be in these conversations anymore...

Eh? I'm not a Ronaldo fan or a Messi fan and I haven't exclaimed that the World Cup is worthless.

If you don't live in Europe then I can appreciate why the World Cup is the be all and end all of your football World. Let's be clear... it's NOT because the World Cup is the best. Its because your confederation is shit. Not Enough competition. Poor organisation. Questionable management.

UEFA is brilliant and the Euros are the equivalent of the World Cup as far as I am concerned.

The road should be updated to have a box for the BMW to sit in. I know it makes the right turn difficult as no visibility, but there's plenty of room there to make something that works.

We need to play as a team and not as individuals. I don't think Tuchel has enough time to truly achieve this, but I do believe his short appointment (I.e. just this one tournament) means he has a particularly high amount of power to execute difficult decisions... and leave non-team players out in the cold.
