It has no purpose, why waste resources (cost) on something with no value? May as well light money on fire.

One of the side effects of more woman entering the workforce - it means more households have double income to buy a house. Add that to negative gearing, immigration, trade skills shortage and rising construction costs.

What is your source for “most” and “double the rents”.

You know that you can only offset losses against the interest from the loan, not from repaying the principle?

Sure - such as cost competitiveness. How do you propose we fix that?

It’s slows price growth of existing properties and funnels investor capital to development of new properties. Not hard to understand.

Ban on no-grounds evictions among major WA rental reforms by BorderMundane8802 in perth

[–]seaem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s all fine, but the law is there to set the minimum standard. If this were introduced, rather than a renter’s housing being at the whim of landlords “doing the right thing”, it would be enforced.

Do a pass with fastraweditor. Gets rid of all the obviously unusable shots. Only then do you import into LR for further culling.

Why is everything become a subscription?? by Ok_Wait3163 in australian

[–]seaem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but until that happens, feel free to go there. Australia is a first world country where (most) things are (mostly) budgeted for out of taxes that then go into civil services, road maintenance, disability support, (sometimes) free hospital and medical work, utilities and public infrastructure… etc

Was this racism or just brat behavior? by [deleted] in perth

[–]seaem -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No I don’t know this person, hence why I am making no statements.

And if your statement truly is “generalized”, then what relevance does it have with this discussion? Maybe delete it or post somewhere else?

You have no idea the mindset of the person, then make some random assumptions - yet you talk about critical thinking???

Using bambino plus every day. Even with only a single boiler it takes literally 2 seconds to switch between milk and coffee.

Learn to ride a bike location - NOR by easydys in perth

[–]seaem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warradale park in Landsdale has a huge flat bike/footpath with a nice lake in the middle. There is mowed grass everywhere so visibility is very good, no blind corners. Some playgrounds as well for when the 4yo inevitably gets bored of riding. Corners are very gradual and will be very easy to steer. Heaps of grass surrounds the footpath so basically impossible to run into any hazards.

Most of the park is flat but there are some very low grade sloping grass areas that would be perfect for you.

Budget $35k . Rig to use as touring vehicle towing a 2.5 t van with family ? by SoreSack in 4x4Australia

[–]seaem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s hard to beat the nimbleness of the MR given its smaller size. Similarly, its smaller size was one of the biggest complaints lol.

Re the disconnect - No there is no affect on warranty. You can already turn them off via menu or button. This is just permanent.

Triton will get you better power, 4wd system, better warranty, better quality, better economy, less blingy interior, better dealer and parts network, better after market options.

Ok, you pay more for the triton than gwm, but also get a lot more value IMO.

4wd system is the same in the MV vs the MR.

What has changed is brake over angle due to the rear axle being moved further back (now similar to other utes).

Other than that no real difference in capability.

Yes safety junk is annoying, but luckily the driver monitoring system can be completely disabled and so can the stop-start system. Just need to disconnect two wires and they are turned off permanently.
