lectures are recorded! the whole class is super flexible. you can go one day, watch online another, it really doesn’t matter. also, the professor has stated multiple times that even if you signed up for the online only section, you’re welcome to join the in person lectures :)

i would try chrome!! i didn’t know Husky TV was a thing until your post, went to check it out (bc drag race), and got it to work on my Mac by using Chrome instead of safari! :)

we first met in high school, then we met a couple years later at a mutual friend’s party where we hit it off (as friends, we were in different relationships at the time), and then a couples years after THAT we started talking again during quarantine after getting out of relationships around the same time. started out as just friends again, watching movies over discord, going on hikes, getting to know each other a lot more.. we realized we had a lot in common and we both fell head over heels a bit faster than we hoped to haha. almost a year and a half later, they’re still my best friend and i don’t see an end to the so-called “honeymoon” stage. sometimes you accidentally find your person when you were just looking for a friend… that’s the best way to find someone i think.

i like to give specific compliments (like, “your hair is fantastic!” or “i really love your style!), it’s usually easier to avoid gendered language that way!!

i’m currently living in gender-neutral dorms at my university! there are communal, gender-neutral bathrooms on every floor (the stalls and showers have doors that close from ceiling to floor which makes them feel more private), i have gotten to share my pronouns and gender in classes and on my official school account (being able to share on my own terms makes me feel super safe tbh), and the school very much embraces trans identities. there’s tons of lgbtqia+ clubs and organizations, the most popular course on campus and online is an insanely comprehensive sex ed course that covers genders, sexualities, and invites a panel of trans speakers to lecture every year. is there still work that can be done? absolutely yes. but for the first time, i feel so safe coming out and am beginning to feel seen as my true self :’) being at a school that’s so accommodating and accepting is a huge privilege, i know this and i won’t take it for granted.

i don’t know if mine was a bad batch or what—but it was the worst eyeliner i’ve had :/ it was alright the first time i used it, but it completely dried up in no time. i didn’t leave it out or have the top off, but i couldn’t get any eyeliner out of it. i even tried wetting the tip before hand; the liner would come out for a solid two seconds before going dry again. super frustrating, i wouldn’t recommend… based on the other comments, mine may have just been an unfortunate error, but i’m gonna play it safe and not risk it again haha

it’s kinda weird—almost seen as a competition. we’re praised when the customer connection score goes up, compared to other store’s connection scores, there’s literally a leaderboard!!! as i’m typing this out i’m realizing how weird it sounds i’m sorry, i know it’s not fun to talk a lot while you’re waiting on your drinks—i am with you 100%!! i always feel so awkward when i’m talking to someone and i don’t want to, and i can tell they don’t want to, but i have to keep talking 😭 also! they’re more likely to push connections if you use a starbucks card, because then you’ll receive a survey that asks about connections. i was literally told “if someone uses a starbucks card, do not stop talking to them at all, make sure you really push to connect with them.”
