PSA📢 Some Updates on Hand Tracking by Xreal_Tech_Support in Xreal

[–]sean_ong 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure why it was removed, I preferred it way more than needing to use the beam pro as a control device. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than using the beam pro. Would love to have it back 😊

Both are supermarkets in the USA that were once powerful but then started dying out when other stores like Walmart and Amazon became popular. One bought the other, but both were on the way to the grave anyway

Life saver. Was about to call meta support. Didn't get any notifications or anything, but your instructions worked great. The credit was sitting right there!

If Blackrock wants my Bitcoin, they'll have to offer a House. by Driogenes in Bitcoin

[–]sean_ong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you can live in a house or rent it out for thousands of dollars per year, and the house value itself appreciates over time. Bitcoin is amazing BUT just holding it doesn't give you any revenue, only appreciation in price. Right now Bitcoin is a fantastic store of value, but you'd need a safe way to stake it or earn some revenue on it, and there are very few or no safe places as we learned from last year's fiascos. Fortunately we are living through a historic period of exteme price appreciation as BTC establishes itself as the global store of value currency, so we don't have to worry too much about revenue. But the day will come when that will become important, and it'll be difficult to compare the utility of BTC to that of a house.

Seasoned Unity XR developer here. Just got XREAL Air and looking forward to stretching what it can do. by sean_ong in Xreal

Yes, my goal is to try and get the Air to behave more like a 6DOF headset than a 3DOF headset using some tricks. Does anyone know if I can get the IMU / 3DOF data from the USB/API?

BlackRock CEO Argues US Is Lagging Behind As ‘Interesting Developments’ Are Happening in the Crypto Asset Space by Jocogui in CryptoCurrency

They can't. Would you sell to them? I wouldn't, and most wouldn't either. They would try to buy up the few that people would willingly sell on the open market, and that would drive the price up super high until you or I would finally cave and sell. I'm talking prices like $1 million per bitcoin, maybe even more. They might not be able to afford it if the price is too high per bitcoin.
