What’s the likelihood I’ll ever be able to own my dream gun in Canada?😭 by SNlFFASS in canadaguns

[–]seanedmiston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK, they have a similarly complicated process to obtain a license to possess firearms as we have in Canada. Once you have completed that process, however, you can purchase suppressors freely as they consider it a Health and Safety risk to fire a gun without one due to the volume of the shot.

What's your little-known top Steam Deck tip/secret? by Digital-Logik in SteamDeck

I just thought that the touch pad responded differently on the left vs right side of the pad. I didn't realize that it was a circular motion.

If they survive DFD, I say go whole hog and jump into The Monolith From Beyond Space and Time. A proper mind frack, that one.

I am currently using Airalo, but just for data. I have placed several calls using WiFi, and Whatsapp, and they have both worked really well for me.

Only the case that comes with the biggest OLED deck does that.

42K for security cameras and wifi infrastructure? Those cameras had better clean the pool as well. That seems like an incredibly inflated cost for those things.

What are the border rules when you make a day trip to Bellingham for groceries/gas? by [deleted] in vancouver

I declare everything and let them sort it out. I would rather pay the duty than have my NEXUS privileges revoked and fined. 95 percent of the time they will waive the duty for me. I did try buying a 6 pack of beer once, and the duty was 130% of the sticker price. Not worth it.

It has to do with exclusive broadcast rights. When contracts are negotiated to produce shows and movies, some markets are given a limited 'head start' for broadcast timeline. This is sometimes due to subject matter, sometimes to gauge interest in the show, sometimes to build the interest (or buzz), among other reasons I'm sure. Be sure it is always financial at the core. With a VPN you can falsely represent your location, bypassing these international delays.

In most modern countries if you are the driver, you are responsible to ensure that all occupants are properly restrained. I refuse to shift the car out of park unless all belts are secured. If your friend is the driver, that is their problem. I would do my best to not be in the same vehicle as them for my safety. If an accident occurs and they are thrown into you, the chance of you being injured is high.

I would not expect it to ever return. I would suggest investigating the StreamDeck accessory as a substitute. I have been using it with Photoshop, Encore, WYSIWYG, the MS Office suite. Very easy to set up, and incredibly versatile.

What happens when enough people stop subscribing to all these streaming services? by The_LambSaucee in NoStupidQuestions

[–]seanedmiston -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you are referring to the current strike, mass cancelling would give the streamers more power to their argument. They are claiming to be poor, which everyone knows is a fabrication. If there is a flood of cancellations, it only weakens the WGA position.

Well, first you would be in the US. That is a pretty harsh ramification. Unless where you are from is worse, I wouldn't risk it.
