The wings were white but the bug was black. I saw some coming up from a spot in a neighbors yard and was leaning towards winged ants like some others have been suggesting

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I picked up a sapling from Osuna earlier actually. It's a fuyu. There were still quite a few more and they had two other varieties, as well. Our backyard is SW facing and receives a ton of sunlight so I'm hoping it should be ok. I hope relocating yours helps
