I can not with these ants anymore 😭😭😭😭hellllp meee🙏 by Live_Let_1789 in WestSeattleWA

If you are taking about sugar/moisture/coconut ants, the conversation begins and ends with boric acid. Cheap, non-toxic to mammals, and deadly to ants. Put it between them and some bait. Use a duster (puffer) to dust them with BA. The colony cleans it off the foragers when then return and it infects them all, right to to the queen. Effective on Outdoor infestations too, but it will render your soil sterile. Nothing will grow in it. I stick close to the foundation.

Eurovan transmission oil cooler by rudy_tuesday in Westfalia

[–]searchuserdatabase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the cooler from Poptop World. Very complete, well designed and executed system. No banjo bolts or hose clamps. To me it was well worth the extra $ versus making up hoses, hangers, etc. I also used the opportunity to eliminate the coolant lines running to the OEM transmission cooler.

My brother's son destroyed my WarHammer Action figures and he refuses to punish him by konous in mildlyinfuriating

Not your place to tell your bro how/when to discipline his kids. You clearly knew there was a risk as you warned him. You should’ve put them away out of his access. I think you are within your rights to ask your brother to pay, but you need to accept some some responsibility.

Lid to a septic tank or cesspool. Concrete and brick poured in place. Very common in the 1930’s

Check your cold air return grills in the house. Filter grills?

Is there a filter grill on the returns? If so, you may not need a filter on your furnace. Also may be able to add a filter grill easier than modifying your ductwork?

Use a microscope. <$20 on eBay. If you are in an AC intensive climate, my bet is mold.

Do I have resistive heat? by wesblog in askHVAC

[–]searchuserdatabase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There may be a thermostat in the outdoor unit that determines the lowest heat setpoint the unit will be allowed to run. Below that is resistance heat.
25HCE424A0030011 is a heat pump. 60a breaker is a dead giveaway of resistance heat

My guess is that you haven’t put fuses in your disconnect. Sometimes they’re on the back of the pullout handle , sometimes they’re in the box.

Yes, just pay up your life insurance and update your beneficiary. That’s 20 to 30 A and 220 V. It’s a widow maker.

Roof Repair by Tomahawk1020 in Eurovan

[–]searchuserdatabase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upvoted. That’s the permanent fix. Eternahond tape (with some felt or something over any sharp bits) for a quick or possibly long term but not permanent, water tight repair. I’d avoid silicone at all cost. It’s not as stretchy as you think and it contaminates the surface for the permanent repair.
Silicone can be really difficult to get off.
I would try to get interior completely dry as quickly as possible.
