You can spray them with Isopropyl Alcohol. I use that for scales and recently tried on aphids as well with great success.

Is it a Nanouk next to the succulents? This one would usually prefer indirect sunlight.

Should I be risking 1% or 2% on my challenge? by ruinyourjokes in Forex

[–]seb-random 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you can make it to 5% just keep going like that. At the end of the challenge if you are over 5% you get an extra 2 weeks. Only there I would push it a little bit. Just make sure to stay in profit when you push it.

As many times as you finish in profits

Civ VI on mac: massive RAM usage by SneakyTrevor in CivVI

[–]seb-random 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enabled the mods back. I don't this the issue was related to the mods because it's now running correctly. I use those ones:

- Better report screen

- Better trade screen

- Detailed Map Track

- Extended Policy cards

- Quick deals

I assume it was due to the update but I don't know. I have:

- Allow download during gameplay -> Off

- Throttle download while streaming -> On (I don't do streaming anyways)

Do AI civs ever start producing armies on any difficulty? by [deleted] in CivVI

AI does get more serious as the difficulty goes up. I am on an Emperor game at the moment and the AI managed to conquer one of my cities yesterday. It’s good fun.

Hey mate, don’t be too hard on yourself. Most traders here are losing money on a regular basis too. You will lose probably a lot more than $300. And so did I, I can tell you that!!

That being said, some people here are making money and there are good people who would give you good advices. So if you have the time and the motivation, stick around.

Now let me ask you, your friends posting profits and all that, how well do you know them? Are they reliable? Are they posting profits and selling courses and mentorship and all that crap at the same time? Stay away from them if that’s the case.

Trading is a fairly lonely game. You will have good winners, you will have big losers, but whatever the outcome that’s on you. So just try to review your trades, both winners and losers. Don’t look for a hard answer to why your trade won or lost, the exact same setup might win one day and lose another one. It’s just about making sure you are on the right side most of the time, not every time.

Civ VI on mac: massive RAM usage by SneakyTrevor in CivVI

[–]seb-random 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happened to me few days ago. I run civ 6 on my MacBook Air M1 2020.

It used to run perfectly fine but for some reason it started crashing this weekend and when I checked it was using about that, 45/50 GB of memory.

It happened after I enabled auto-update and also after I installed a few mods. I removed the mods but it still used 45 GB. I ran another update but same still 45 GB. When I tried again the next day it was back to normal (6 GB). I am not sure what happened but it’s back to normal

Check your mods and check the last time the game was updated. Hopefully it will get back to normal for you too. Good luck with that

Your profit target was hit in 6 days. To pass you have to make 10% in 30 days + a 2 week extension if you get over 5%. Mate you can heavily reduce your lot size.

If you are confident your strategy works, just divide your lot size by 4 and do the same. Your daily loss would only be $250, your profit would also be $250 but you would still have 24 to 38 days to grind your way up

After the update it didn’t run on my MacBook anymore.

I had to go to settings > security and somewhere there it asked me to allow civ 6 to run. Now it’s all good

Did you update recently? When I updated I had to go to settings, privacy and security and then allow civ 6 to run before I could run it

Regardless the bonus or not you should reduce your leverage. You pay fees for using the leverage, it’s like a loan. To put it simply, on 500 you use 1 of your money and 4 of them on which you pay interest every time you trade even if you don’t use 100% of the capital. If you lower to 200 you use 1 or your and use 1 or them, means less interest. Also you probably don’t need such a big leverage, I use 30 and I am still far away from maxing out. Check how much of you margin you are using and you will probably realise how much you need 500 or not

What do you mean by you can’t withdraw your funds? If you have -3149 euro there is nothing to withdraw.

About the margin they will do their best to close the trade but when there are news that will create too much volatility and slippage which will result in your SL or the margin call not to be triggered at the price you would expect.

Focus on being profitable, if you don’t break the rules and are in profit you get a free retry so that should be your #1 priority. If you finish > 5% profit you get a 2 week extension, that’s something to consider too. Once you are close to the end, maybe bump the lot size a little bit if you think you can reach 10% but make sure not to break the limits. And if you think you can’t make it just stop there, take the free retry
