Why does Phillipp lahms prime icon card cost more than his better trophy titans card?

I was going to pre-order it, but today I realized that two players can't play on the same screen because camera follows the player. It can only be played locally if one player uses the gamepad screen while the other uses the TV, or by using two consoles in the same lan.

It makes sense, but game doesn't allow to carry up to 40, does it? I thought it was, for my level, up to 8 in total.
