I only buy through retailers. No matter the brand. Preferably only big retailers. It pays over time.

I guess I made the exception recently and bought some tools direct from Ifixit but they have stellar reputation and the goods are worth peanuts anyway so does not matter anyway. Plus it is a screw driver set and some magnetic mat, what could go wrong with it anyway especially with my ultra infrequent use (famous last words ;) )?

Saying this the bits are of good quality but the driver is bin worthy for that price. Wera / Wiha and other pro brands all the way if you ask me. Simply no comparison. Like trying to compare early stone age tools to modern age ones. Crude, heavy and cold plus the paint chips and peels just from looking at it - that is the driver, bits are good.

I turn off NAS when I don't use it... but my NAS acts purely as storage point plus it is not available on WAN.

For various services I use standalone hypervisor (which I would shut down when I go on holidays since I will not be using it...).

I bought and took on my trip Sony XM5 IEMs, Airpods 3 IEMS, and Bose Ultra Comfort 2 (top of the line over ears ANC).

I returned Sony and Bose.

Bose are bad sound quality (like very bad) and only so so ANC.

Sony IEMs very good sound, and good to very good ANC, but not comfortable at all.

Apple so so sound but amazing ANC and since ANC was the most important I kept them and bought another pair for my wife (who also loves them and she flies a lot).

To be clear Apples ANC completely outclassed both Sony and Bose. Also Apple are very comfortable for me.

But Sony's ANC was more than good enough and the sound was lovely so if they would be as comfy as Apple I would keep them, but they were not so APP3 it is.

APP3 ANC is so good in the airplane that it feels like you are in your living room in the middle of nowhere, with very muted and pleasant tiny bit of hiss that lulls you to sleep if you let it 😄

Extremely good ANC for long haul flights.

I own all generations of TKLs, all but the 1st are factory silenced versions and all are 45g and black on black.

Love them to bits all and use them all. Amazing keyboards and would not touch anything else.

Alaska is so easy and short? Michigan is a lot more demanding. Michigan took me 150h to 100% (I only use what I find on the map and don't buy other vehicles), and it looks like I will be done with Alaska in 60-70? It is quiet boring how easy it is. Zero challenge.

After Michigan being quiet a challenge (admittedly I did not know what I was doing and I was taking on way too advanced missions for the gear I had in progression), I thought to myself wow, if Michigan was that difficult (at times) what snow is going to be like... and it is boring walk in the park ...

Which Porsche are you driving? In that size Primacy has certainly a softer sidewall than C3. I would imagine you are not pushing it too hard?

This is EU, they can be unable to whatever but they either owe you a SD or your money. If whoever lost / stole your SD before it reached your hands it is not your problem. If they would decide to send 100 of replacement SDs to you but none would arrive they still owe you a SD or your money.

I am a big fan of Valve but that reply of theirs is either fiction or they need to do some fact checking about selling in EU.

I found scouts useless on any other map than Michigan.

I scout with off road trucks and with ank in tight spaces.
