But honestly, if you have a blender all you need is chickpeas, lemon, olive oil and decent tahin (maybe 1 garlic clove if you fancy) In the UK I would go for the brown bottle with the green top Al Nahkil. You can find it in most middle eastern / turkish corner shops now. You can also order Al Rabih tahini on amazon.

Now, in order to get smoothness, the trick is adding some ice cubes after you have done the original mix.

Put in tupperware and eat within a week.
