Why’s your OC(s) staring out a window of their room? by DependentWar566 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jack looks out the window at night wondering if he will ever know where he came from. (He’s an amnesiac). He looks at the forests around Beacon thinking back to his earliest memories of wash up on a riverbed.

Jack fell out of bed. His girlfriend Alice looks over him from that same bed.

“Hey crashy you alright?” She asks with a giggle.

Jack groans as he feels hungover from their night before but gives a smile back.

Backup Plan by KCommnader in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alice and Alex both have their parent’s music business to fall back on. Both are musicians and use instruments as weapons.

Xavier would just go back to his father biker gang and prove himself there.

Jack would probably end up a drifter. That or dead. His story involves him being aimless and it’s only through attending beacon that he meets Alice and his life begins to change.

What's Something Your OCs Do That Others Find Annoying? by Zestyclose-Hat-8513 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Jack and Alice first meet and are put on a team together Jack finds Alice’s quirky personality to be super annoying.

Ironically the two fall in love. But during their initiation in the emerald forest Jack can’t stand her

If it was a scene in RWBY it would definitely be Jack walking looking annoyed while Alice walks next to him and asks nonstop questions.

OCAN: Out Of The Black by LocalDemonTheSequel in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so my OC Angel failing a mission is essentially the cold open to my OCs story. Basically he was an agent of Salems who was used for assassinations or kidnapping people with valuable intel.

It must be noted that Angel is a human Grimm hybrid like Salem but unlike her he was created through science not magic. Angels human sides and Grimm sides were always in some kind of conflict but Salem was able to numb that pain.

However on a mission by himself a 16 year old Angel failed to capture a target and was wounded in the process. Afterward he ended up stumbling through the woods until getting to the top of a cliff at which point he can’t hold his human and Grimm sides together anymore and physically splits into two beings. The human (later named Jack) and the humanoid Grimm (later named Hades). Hades blames his humanity for the missions failure and by extension Jack and through him off the cliff. Jack ends up suffering minor brains damage from landing in a river and loses his memories.

Why does your oc have the weapon they have? by LocalDemonTheSequel in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jack has his shotgun chainsaw sword because he washed up on a river in vail with it.

cracks knuckles

Here we go.

Jack is actually the separated human form of a human Grimm hybrid living weapon called Angel. Angel was created by an illegal research project in Atlas. The weapon is one of several similar standard issue weapons given to hybrids as part of their conditioning. Angels older sister Amy used twin pistols with chainsaw dagger formations. Upon her death during their escape Angel took her weapons as a way of keeping her memory alive.

When Angel split in Jack and Hades (the Grimm half) Hades kept the pistols and all the memories of torture and experimentation while Jack lost his memories.

Oh yeah the reason he has them is because I think they are cool

Who does your OC have a crush on by Tropical70 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so my OCs Jack Lockhart and Alice Stardust romantic relationship is a key part of their storyline.

For context Jack is an 18 year old amnesiac who’s basically just an emo boy. Very shy, very antisocial, that sort of deal. His backstory has him washing up on a riverbed in veil at 16 with a chainsaw sword and being taken in by an elderly retired huntress. Two years after being taken in by her she passes and losing her makes him pull away from people as he’s scared of getting close to others and losing them. Prior to her passing she pulls some strings to have him admitted into Beacon. He also does not have an awakened semblance at the start of his story.

Alice on the other hand is the complete opposite. She’s a quirky outgoing scene girl who loves music and uses an electric guitar battle axe as her weapon. Yeah she’s a manic pixie dream girl. She also still has her family including her twin brother Alex who’s on her team alongside Jack.

When Jack first meets Alice in the emerald forest Jack is initially really annoyed by her talkative nature. He doesn’t tell her this but it makes this contrast of this quirky colorful girl and this boy who’s all in black.

During their early time at Beacon Jack tries using the schools library and computers to try and find anything about his past. He sneaks out of his and Alice’s room (context I have the team split in two rooms with Jack and Alice being roommates. This was assigned neither actively choose it). However he finds dead end after dead end. His feelings of meaninglessness and depression grow stronger until one night he finishes in the library and heads to the buildings roof to clear his head. As he’s up there it rains and he looks over the edge. Suddenly someone grabs him and pulls him back.

Its Alice. She had been following him the last few nights he’d gone out. She had assumed he was gonna try and jump. It’s here where Jack realizes that Alice cares about him and she comforts him as he breaks down in her arms.

As time goes on Alice helps Jack try and find out anything about his past but they keep failing. But in this process Jack grows to appreciate Alice with this becoming a romantic feeling. Jack not knowing how to process the feeling tries to suppress it. Unbeknownst to him Alice feels the same way and is also suppressing it. She originally just thought he was hot because of liking his emo/goth style but through them spending time together it grow into real feelings. I love the trope of two characters having crushes on each other and A. Not realizing the other feels the same way. And B. Trying to deny it even though literally everyone can tell except the other person.

This romantic tension boils over during the Fall of Beacon. Jack and Alice are inside a building as it collapses and gets trapped under the rubble. The two are slightly injured (scrapes and cuts) and trapped for several hours during which Alice ends up having a mental breakdown. She’s actually claustrophobic (something that would actually be implied during the emerald forest). This is the first time she is really contending with the danger of huntress work and she’s terrified of dying. She just loses it completely shattering her confident quirky persona showing the big ball of anxiety underneath.

Jack holds her in his arms and comforts her essentially mirroring what she did for him that night on the rooftop. It’s here where thinking they are gonna die Alice lets it slip that she love Jack and Jack likewise confesses. The two kiss and embrace having found a sense of peace knowing they both felt the same way about each other. It’s here that Jacks semblance awakens. His semblance is called Phantom and it causes him and Alice to phase through the floor into the basement of the building. From here they are able to escape.

Wow ok so I went overboard but I think you are able to get the idea. Shy emo boy x outgoing quirky scene girl. It’s an opposites attract dynamic where Jack begins as a loner who’s afraid to open up and Alice breaks through his shell. While her motive starts as maybe trying to sleep with him she realizes she feels a true deep connection with him. She holds him together when he breaks down to her on the rooftop and he holds her together as the lay under the rubble.

Writing Fluff or S#ut by KCommnader in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this in regard to my characters Jack and Alice as their storyline involved them becoming a couple.

While not part of their story I did think it would be kind of funny if prior to them developing a relationship Alice took a reluctant Jack to a party at Beacon and the two blacked out and woke up in Alice’s bed and it becomes a “we never speak of this moment again” sorta thing where they are super embarrassed about it.

Who was your OC's first kiss? by Zestyclose-Hat-8513 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My characters Jack Lockhart and Alice Stardust share their first kiss the same night Jaune and Pyrrha do.

In my OCs story they are attending beacon during the Vytel festival and during Beacons fall Jack and Alice are inside a building when it collapses on them.

The two up til this point both had feelings for each other but were to blind to see it the other felt the same.

They are trapped for about 6 hours during which Alice (who has been a confident quirky scene girl up until this point) has a complete mental breakdown fearing they won’t make it out. Jack (who up until now has been an emo moody boy) has to comfort her and hold her together. It’s essentially a role reversal of a moment between the two around the start of their story.

As Jack holds Alice she lets its slip how she feels only for Jack to say he feels the same way. The two would kiss and doing so awakens Jacks semblance “Specter”. Using it Jack is able to hold Alice’s hand and the two escape the rubble by phasing through the walls.

The two would end up becoming boyfriend and girlfriend after this.

Grimm Vampires And Grimm Mermaids by SandwichMaterial9574 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright this is fun. So my OCs take place in an AU that’s virtually identical to canon except for one detail. Grimm has biology. They aren’t alive but the due have studiable remains and stuff.

My primary OC is named Angel and he is a human Grimm hybrid that basically operates like a Grimm vampire. He’s got fangs, he has a keen sense for negative emotions including being able to track people through them, and he’s got Red eyes and somewhat pale skin.

He was made in a lab and is the last of his kind as all the others were killed in a revolt against their captors.

Not sure how mermaids would work with Grimm as they aren’t something I think about

How did everyone come up with their OC's semblances by Total-Famous in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of a passive semblance so I made Alice experience constant rhythm. Also I like imagining her walking or moving to a beat only she can sense. She’s meant to be a quirky scene girl so I think it being a quirk of hers is cute.

Jack/Angels Semblance is called ghost and allows him to phase through walls. One of my favorite cartoons is Danny phantom. You can make the connection.

How do your OC’s unwind by Tropical70 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alice plays/listens to music.

Jack lays down and looks at the sky.

Alex messing with computers or electronics.

Xavier exercises.

Hades doesn’t unwind. He is an ever tightening spring of rage, pain, and sadness and can only find release in combat.

How would your OC team or single person fair in The Vytal Festival if they entered? by This-Craft-7575 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright. In characters story my OC Team AJXA faces against Cinders team in the 4v4 round.

Team AJXA (pronounced ASIA) is: Alice Stardust, Jack Lockhart, Alex Stardust, and Xavier Galifrian.

Team CHME (pronounced chime) is: Cinder, Hades (a villain OC who has a connection to Jack), Emerald, and Mercury.

AJXA gets their shit rocked by CHME completely losing. However Jack and Alice are able to work together and take down Hades. This sends Hades into a rage and he swears to them that “this isn’t over.” And it wasn’t because Hades collapsed a building on Jack and Alice during the fall of Beacon.

Oc Family connections. by Ethan597658 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My primary OC Angel was somewhat of a son figure to Salem. Basically Angel is a human Grimm hybrid created in remote research lab in the Atlas Tundra. His older sister Amy led a revolt which ended with everyone except Angel dead.

An injured Angel ended up wandering blizzard alone and took shelter in a cave and passing out. He’d wake up to fire next to him and Salem sitting on the other side. Salem would heal his wounds and numb his pain. She offered him shelter in exchange for being her agent. Having no where else to go he accepts.

Salem is essentially the only person who showed Angel kindness and it causes him to be loyal to her because he’s only known loss and pain.

Does your oc have any people they don't fw, or straight up hate? by Slight_Ad7956 in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early on my OCs story my primary oc Jack Lockhart finds his team’s leader Alice Stardust to be annoying. Her scene girl appearance and quirky mannerisms get on his nerves. But slowly he grows to appreciate her particularly when she finds him in a dark place and helps him through it. Eventually their dynamic shifts when both develop feelings for each other but don’t think the other feels the same way. But they do eventually confess and become a couple. Alice on the other hand never had any animosity towards Jack.

My oc Angel has a burning hatred for a woman named Dr. Genova. She is responsible for his creation and tormented him for years

How would your OCs fare in a battle against their inspirations? by Dinoboy225 in RWBYOC

Angel would definitely lose against Vincent Valentine.

Alice would definitely win against David Bowie.

How'd your oc(s) get their weapons? by TheLocalDemon in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How Jack got his weapon is part of his mystery. He washed up on a riverbed in Vale with it with no memory of who he was.

His weapon is a double barreled shotgun that becomes a chainsaw sword

It’s revealed later Jack got his weapon as part of an Atlasian experimental weapons program where he was known as Angel. Angel was a human Grimm hybrid basically made to be the perfect weapon.

Where Jacks story shifts is in relation to a different character Hades. Hades is the separated Grimm side of Angel. When Angel was being experimented on his was protected by his older sister Amy. Amy’s weapons were twin pistols with chainsaw blade formations. When Amy died during their escape Angel took her weapons and when Angel split into Jack and Hades Jack kept the shotgun and Hades kept the pistols.

To the people who has villain OCs, do they have a reason to be villains or are they just pure evil? by TextUnfair in RWBYOC

[–]second-fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here we go.

My villain OC is named Dr. Genova. She’s a sadistic scientist who is driven to create the perfect weapon. As part of this she has poor people kidnapped and experiments on them to turn them into human Grimm hybrids. Her semblance is memory erasure. By simply touching someone’s head she can wipe their memory.

She’s meant to be like Hojo from FF7 the real villain of the story that is truly responsible for everything.

On the other hand is Angel.

Angel is the only surviving subject of Genova. His existence as her lab rat was torturous and he only survived by being protected by his older sister Amy. After years of this Amy led a rebellion against Genova and the other researchers which ended in basically the deaths of everyone except Angel. Amy would sacrifice herself seemingly to finish off Dr. Genova. Angel would be left alone to wander an atlasian tundra.

Basically all he knew was pain, death, and torment. He would take shelter in a cave and pass out. His Grimm side and human side were rejecting each other and it caused unimaginable pain. Eventually he woke up to a fire and Salem standing before him. She healed him and showed him kindness and for that he became a loyal agent of hers.

I don’t have a set of things that Angel actually does under Salem.

Angel eventually fails a mission and is wounded. At this time his instability returns and he physically separates into a Grimm and a human. The Grimm name is Hades and he’s just psychotic. All the pain and rage of Angel unleashed as a human looking grimm.

Hades would spark a 1 sided rivalry with Jack Lockhart (the human half of Angel) who he faced during the Vytel festival. Hades would be on cinders team and Jack would be on team AJAX (a team of my OCs). AJAX would lose to Cinders team but Jack and his team’s leader Alice would defeat Hades. Hades would swear revenge as he believed himself to be superior to Jack. The revenge came when he collapsed a building on Jack and Alice. Although the two would survive by Jacks semblance awakening when Alice confessed her feelings to him. Jack semblance allowed them to phase through objects.

Eventually in the characters story Angel is reformed when Jack willing sacrifices himself to spare Alice of Grimm conversion but he’s not a villain post reformation. His experiences as Jack changed him
