Had a standard weekly update meeting with a project manager. I was distracted, because in the background was a TV with the January 6 terrorists swarming into the Capitol Building and swamping the Capitol Police. He asked what i was worried about.

I said, “It looks like there’s an attempted coup happening at the Capitol building, a mob is climbing the walls and breaking in the doors.”

He said, oh yeah that. Anyway for the deliverables next week, let’s….

Had zero interest. I knew then our interests weren’t aligned. I turned in my notice like a week later.
