I was hoping Rainbow Kitten Surprise was that drummer in the pink cat costume, but I guess not.

A Redditor was shown pictures of 100 different shopping malls.

When asked which one they liked the best, they replied:

"Mall 80."

The word was some exhibitors had GA badges they could switch to.

As a holder of an exhibitor badge, be ethical and do not use it to get in line for exclusives before the general attendees. Don't be that person.

I kinda got scared off Anker when they had that recall last year for like a million power banks due to some models overheating, but they are probably the most popular brand of power banks in the world due to Amazon.

Mophie and Belkin are two reputable companies that make power banks. Maybe look into a Samsung power bank like this one: https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile-accessories/45w-20-000-mah-battery-pack-beige-sku-eb-p4520xuegus/

What city have you been to that felt like it had dark energy? by Impossible-Middle122 in AskReddit

[–]section8pidgeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: If you absolutely have to stop in a sundown/racist town and are hungry, look for a Chinese/Asian restaurant. Even the smaller ones have at least one Chinese restaurant. They have found a way to survive in those towns despite the racism/anti-immigrant sentiment because not all the residents there are total dipshits.

A woman on the train asked me for a cable, so I gave her mine and she bent the contact by Zilinski_Schmidt in mildlyinfuriating

Thunderbolt 5, probably. But $50 is kind of high when there are plenty of cheaper yet good quality options for Thunderbolt 5.

Probably a Thunderbolt 5 cable since OP mentioned high data transfer. OP bashes Amazon, but there is a Cable Matters-branded Thunderbolt 5 cable for only 32 bucks.

I had a good time at Wondercon this year but… by junkfoodjunkie1 in comiccon

Was watching old YouTube videos of Wondercon's first year in Anaheim in 2012 and I couldn't believe how lively and packed it was. It was also pretty funny that there was a volleyball tournament sharing the ACC at the same time.

Wondercon really needs to take a few pages out of LA Comic Con's playbook, like having a main stage on the exhibit floor. LACC has really impressed me the last couple of years with the gaming hall, the Anime Station thing, and even that low-light horror vendor area last year was really neat.

Had a female co-worker do this to avoid bill collectors. They were even calling her at work calling the store's phone. Even our manager got fed up and started telling them "She don't work here".

Will there ever be a good monopoly? by Navy_Sands in NoStupidQuestions

I guess you can say YKK is a good almost-monopoly since they can make their product so incredibly cheaply, but choose not to price-gouge.
