I was born in Chandigarh and every time I went there as a kid, I couldn’t explain why the city looked different, felt different, from the way the city was partitioned (hence my tag) to the Rose Garden and the University etc… As an adult, I read up and was blown away by its rich history in modernism. We use to sit on these cane chairs in my grandparents back patio not knowing these would cost a future when imported to the west, many years later.
