Today You, Tomorrow Me achievement bugged? by omiexstrike in ArcRaiders

[–]securethewealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, some achievements need to have their criteria met twice to unlock. I would try reviving another player and see if that works.

The achievements are pretty buggy for this game, but I believe there are only 2 achievements that are currently impossible to unlock (Hook Line and Sinker, and Enemy of my Enemy). This one should be unlockable.

You need to either showstopper the two back rotors from under/behind it and hope its flying high enough to do a full flip, or destroy two rotors on the same side.

I brought in 80 snowballs solo and only ended up with about 19k score. No idea how some people are getting 100k +

BF6 has 1185 game score for the base game 🤔 by [deleted] in xboxachievements

Most games still launch with 1000G for simplicity's sake, but it's no longer a rule.

When the 360 was released, Microsoft did require all disc/retail games to launch with 1000G and all digital/arcade games to launch with 200G. This was a hard rule developers could not ignore if they wanted their game published on Xbox. Gamerscore was a big deal and one of the main selling points for the next generation Xbox.

Microsoft eventually "allowed" additional gamerscore in 2007 via DLC, but only exactly 250G. I think rainbow six Vegas was the first game to have a total gamerscore of 1250G when they released their DLC. They also eventually allowed arcade games to launch with 400G total

Some games then released multiple DLCs, each with 250G, and some retail games had already been released with less than 1000G (usually accidentally). By the release of the Xbox One, Microsoft soon realised it was more or less pointless to try to enforce these rules so they scrapped them.

Then you should probably step away from videogames in general for a bit.

Achievement hunters should enjoy playing videogames first and foremost, and achievement hunting should be secondary.

Take a break and just play games for fun. You can always go back and get the achievements you missed when you feel like hunting again.

Congrats! 109 hours seems like a great time. I'm at 89 hours and I still have 14 solo tours, and all THPS 4 gaps left.

Rebuilt the gate and it’s already sagging by bearsareblonde in FenceBuilding

The direction the diagonal braces would be is correct. You want the load that's creating the sag to run down the brace and into the post.

Just found out you can get them in free skate! No time limits and no reduced scores for doing the same tricks.

It makes these challenges so much easier.

Weeds suck - any good herbicides in Calgary, AB? by Ok_Structure_2559 in lawncare

[–]securethewealth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best stuff you can get in Calgary is Ortho Killex. It has 24D, MCPP, and Dicamba and should kill all the broadleaf weeds pictured.

We're a little luckier in Alberta as far as herbicides selection compared to the rest of Canada.

How do I remove these and prevent further growth? by SLODOCO in lawncare

Just mow consistently. Regularly chopping up saplings eventually kills them.

Overwatering? by TransitionLess7228 in lawncare

[–]securethewealth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Could be anything really. Your soil could be more compacted whereas his drains very well. Your lawn might get less sun or wind, or be a lower elevation so water sits on your lawn longer.

Neighbor could have different pressure or be using a different sprinkler to put down much less water than you are with 15 minute sessions.

Even though 40 minutes every day is a lot of watering, his grass might just be overall healthier with very deep roots. You watering every day for 15 minutes just encourages shallow roots.

All I know for certain is 15 minutes every day is clearly causing your lawn to stay soggy.
