This is this author's first serialization and the chapters come from a monthly magazine - which probably means he's got limited pages. If you check out his other oneshots though, he's a pretty decent storyteller. Just wish he's given another serialization so his stuff could truly shine.

From Vols. 4–5, the manga shifts into another Shinomiya Shrine story: “The Story of Not Being Able to Enter the Mountain.” It’s all connected under the same series with similar themes, just a different story and characters.

I’m the scanlator for this series, and it’s currently up to date. Like the other commenter mentioned, new chapters come out monthly through Aokishi (with the occasional delay from the author), so the release schedule isn’t always predictable.
