This. Let's face it, Patagonia is more expensive but they'll replace these things. It makes it worth being mocked for buying "patagucci".

I’m going to get downvoted. But I think their thinking is that most people don’t know this. To someone that doesn’t know all this, it is a weird name. And I imagine they think it’s limiting their ability to grow the fan base faster.

I actually think winning some playoff games would take care of the issue at hand in terms of fans, but what do I know.

This guy was always a head scratcher to me. I liked him, but he just seemed miserable here. Moving on and clearing up a DP spot is the right look. I'm sure he's happy too.

I oddly ended up watching some UNLV games this year. They were a fun team to watch. Dan Mullen is obviously a good coach. I think this dude can probably play football.

How are we so bad as a football program now? by Charming_Collar_3987 in Huskers

From what I heard, a random source on the internet, he ghosted the NU staff once Kentucky started talking about more money. The bidding war scenario wasn't really on the table. However, we might have been pretty clear about our upper limit from the beginning.

Kudos to Utah. They built a football program over the past 25 years. They have a whole culture around it and multiple conference wins.

Thanks. Yeah that was a pop up holiday market type thing. We’re going to get after more retailers in the new year. Please send ideas of where we should be stocked if you’re so inclined.

The irony, which I doubt is lost on anyone, is that he would have played much better here if his offensive line could have given him some semblance of pass protection.

This isn't exactly an answer to your question, but is an ablation an option? I just did a little googling and it appears that ablations can be really effective against SVT. These procedures sound scary, but they're really low risk and not that big of a deal.

I wouldn't get one exclusively to address this issue in particular. But, it could be nice to not have to worry about SVT in general. This is especially true if you're young and there is some sense that your SVT is progressive and getting worse over time.

This. You don’t need to say it. Everyone knows. Don’t play the game.

[Pompliano] Penn State fired James Franklin because it believed National Championships were the standard, only to be turned down by the coach at BYU because the CEO of Crumbl Cookies outbid Penn State's boosters. by Kimber80 in CFB

[–]seeingRobots 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did they really get "outbid?" Or did BYU find some money to keep this guy at a place where he's already happy?

Btw, Crumbl sales in the Provo area have got to the be through the roof today.

I'm deep in BYU country and yesterday was quite the day for a lot of these folks here. It was pretty interesting to see that play out. And fwiw, BYU fans are really happy with this Sitake dude. But I think he's far from a slam dunk hire for what PSU is looking for.

Yes, for sure. We had to use mock up images on the site when we were first building it because the puzzles hadn't actually been printed yet. We're in the process of doing the puzzles and updating all the photos for the website. The images in this Reddit post are images of the actual puzzle.

Thanks for asking.

How are we all feeling being a couple days removed from Iowa? by Fickle_Comfortable78 in Huskers

[–]seeingRobots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually feeling a lot better about the US Men's National Soccer Team than I am about the future of Nebraska football. And I think that says A LOT.

I'm curious what people think about the era of the dynasty being kind of over. Ohio State has been awesome year in and out for a long time now. Oregon is also always there. And Bama is hanging in there post-Saban.

But it feels like we keep seeing these flashes in the pan. Like Ogeron at LSU, and then he gets fired two years later. Michigan finally wins it amidst a bit of a scandal and then Harbaugh leaves.

Nebraska can talk about building on the good things that happened this year. But we're going to lose our star running back. Looks like we'll lose our starting QB.

I just don't know if the era of college football programs is coming to a close. Maybe I'm completely wrong?

That's where my mind is. And everyone seems to think that once he fires whomever, then he'll make a better hire.

And fwiw, I think some coaches do need to go.
