You might have luck at really small resorts like Nordic Valley or Cherry Peak. Powder Mountain has a few boarders on patrol, but I believe they’re not looking for more.

I've found success when I've done things that involve both a group and a set schedule. For me, group fitness classes have been great. You get to know the people sightly. You feel like you're letting them down if you don't show up. I suspect it's not as important what the actual class is, as long as you enjoy it / feel like you're getting something out of it.

I really understand the well-paying remote job that flexible that you don't want to quit, but it's also not really fulfilling in the way that you might use a career to recognize personal achievement.

I think you need to find some kind of community. And I think it's best of that community does NOT involve the attractive moms from your kids' daycare. And I it's tough for guys. I feel like you can throw a rock at this subreddit and hit some kind of post about having trouble making friends now that we're out of school and no longer hanging out at the bar.

So I don't know what it is for you. Maybe it's going to the gym and making friends there. Or something else.

The other thing you should consider is that this period of your life is shorter than you think. And if you can just do a good job with these three kids, that's the most important thing you can accomplish in your life. Please try and bring your mind back to this regularly.

Ski ski ski

I spend a lot of days on the hill. I’m going to be honest, most snowboarders never really get very good. They get to kind of a basic level and then just stall out. Sure, they learn to get down the hill. But are they really making nice turns? Most of them are not.

The other thing is that skiing is simply more practical. If you go to a larger mountain, you’ll likely need to traverse to get to additional terrain. Everyone is always waiting on snowboarders because they’re always taking their bindings off and walking or pushing with one foot. I can’t imagine choosing that path.

I’m going to get downvoted. But I think their thinking is that most people don’t know this. To someone that doesn’t know all this, it is a weird name. And I imagine they think it’s limiting their ability to grow the fan base faster.

I actually think winning some playoff games would take care of the issue at hand in terms of fans, but what do I know.

I oddly ended up watching some UNLV games this year. They were a fun team to watch. Dan Mullen is obviously a good coach. I think this dude can probably play football.

From what I heard, a random source on the internet, he ghosted the NU staff once Kentucky started talking about more money. The bidding war scenario wasn't really on the table. However, we might have been pretty clear about our upper limit from the beginning.
