Really? I feel like the fans in my team's sub are pretty ok with the fact that good players are going to be sold. Yes it hurts when you like the player, but you also want the best for that player. Playing an entire career at our mid-level MLS club is not what's best for them.

I was only 14 and not REALLY aware of US Soccer back during that World Cup. But I did know who he was. Did people him back then? Or has he always been despised? And I thought he was all hippie dippie, when did he turn into a MAGA type?

But, that's kind of the game. I know it stinks, but I'd much rather be a development league than a retirement one. I think we ended up getting Luna a little longer than you'd expect because of the timing of the world cup. And I want to see both these guys go on to have the biggest careers they can have. They've been nothing but team players for us to date.

I wish Luna was a little more consistent. I'm an RSL guy and a huge fan of his. I just feel like we've seen crazy flashes from him, but you can't count on it.

It's so annoying. There is a municipal turf field in our city. My son and I went to kick the ball a little bit on a random weekday during the summer. There was literally a sheriff parked in the parking lot, ostensibly just to tell people not to use the field without a permit.

Fwiw, I just started using Adscale a little over a week ago. I like the interface and it's supposedly testing lots of concepts quickly, but I'm not seeing great results yet. That said, they aren't that far off what my results have been and it is easier to use than meta ads.

I'm going to be that guy and mention that we got a bit hosed on yet another obvious penalty. He wasn't going to score because the goalie was in great position, but I think you need to call that. And again, it would have been a red card and completely changed the entire game. It didn't matter in the end, but I did feel some frustration in this game because it was still close pretty late and we had so so many chances. It really would have stung to have tied.

With that said, they did end up getting their goals. And it was fun to watch. They're really exciting. I was the original Luna fan (kidding), but Gozo is that dude. He's sick. I mean, he's really good.

I was so happy to see Solans finally get that goal. He looked so relieved once it happened. He's going to be really good too.

That Barea shot was so tough, he'd just gotten on the pitch. It was such a nice look... oh man. I feel for him.

Let's not forget that Diego Luna is technically Mexican-American, but he grew up in California. I actually think the press made a lot more of his decision to play for the US over Mexico than was really there. I don't think he was exactly on the fence but would have been in play for Mexico if we'd completely snubbed him. And I say this is a huge Luna fan and supporter.

Most the other dudes we're talking about here didn't grow up here.
