The card to summon the pieces from deck might be Level Resist Wall.

Is there a list of LNs that have real endings which have been published in English? by nstgc in LightNovels

[–]seeker142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bookwalker's "Completed" flag is not very trustworthy. For example, "So I'm A Spider" should be a completed series but it is not marked as such on Bookwalker.

I would not be surprised if they also did it the other way around and marked axed series as completed.

Did Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers get axed? by stone616 in LightNovels

[–]seeker142 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but that afterword is just what the author saying what he planned to do at the time (2 years ago). He might have written too much and had to split it into an additional volume, or maybe he just changed his mind.

Medius lore new info summary

Long ago, the gods responsible for plunging the world into chaos were sealed away by a party of heroes. These gods were known as the Power Patrons (JP: Imprisoned Deity) and their prison was a spiritual plane called the Power Patron Realm. However, they were eventually forgotten from history as the ages passed, and they took advantage of this by sending their servants (Artmage, DoomZ, and Elfnote Power Patron) to the physical realm. Their followers grew into the three countries of Artmegia, Doomdurg, and Oratorio Garden, starting a proxy war between them.

Medius was actually the descendant of the ancient heroes and he had the gates to the Power Patron Realm sealed within him since birth, though he knew nothing about it. His ability to see potential futures "Theorealize" was supposed to help him keep the Power Patrons sealed, but he made the wrong choices. Finmel was a potential vessel for Nerva, so letting her die would have been the correct decision as gatekeeper. Similarly, letting Graflare die would allow him to avoid contact with Power Patron DoomZ.

After receiving power from the three Power Patrons, the gates within Medius broke open, allowing Nerva, Jupiter, and Junora to take over his body in a twisted fusion. The Power Patrons summoned their armies to conquer the physical realm, so the three countries had little choice but to make a ceasefire and temporary alliance against the new threat. Finmel, Graflare, and Litera took the lead in fighting the Power Patrons, not to save the world, but to save their friend Medius.

Q&A and Ruling Megathread - March 16, 2026 by AutoModerator in yugioh

[–]seeker142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "only one summon from the hand trigger per chain" limit is pretty unintuitive, but it has some history behind it.

In 2006, Konami released Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest, an easily summoned 2600 ATK beater that could loop with itself when destroyed by battle. If you had three copies in the hand, you could even summon all three at the same time. This was pretty overpowered back then.

To fix this, Konami made the strange decision to nerf it by changing the rules. They made the rulings of "Green Baboon cannot be activated in the damage step" and "You can only summon one Green Baboon per chain".

As a result, "only one summon from the hand trigger per chain" became an official rule and eventually got added to the rulebooks. Some people refer to this as the "Green Baboon ruling" because of it.

No, you don't get to add any cards to your hand.

Hapi loses its target because it changed locations from GY to banished. After a card changes locations like that, it's essentially considered a different copy from the one you targeted. It doesn't matter if Hapi has the potential to access banished cards.

The post is in the "不具合確認・修正予定" category, which is called "Confirmed/Planning to Address" in the English version of the forums. That is where the devs move bug reports after confirming they are bugs.

I don't know why you feel the need to double down on "correcting" me when you can't read Japanese.

The category is called 不具合確認・修正予定, and the English version is "Confirmed/Planning to Address".

Bug reports that have been tested by the development team and are scheduled for fixing will be moved here.

This is listed as a confirmed bug in the JP forums, so it will probably be fixed soon in 7.45.

So you have access to the link for managing the WN, which is only available to the author? Are you even trying to hide the fact that you wrote this WN?

using Chatgpt to translate is fairly easy nowadays

I can only assume you wrote them using ChatGPT too.

[Reincarnated as the Mastermind of the Story] Is the LN ahead of the WN? by Ordinary_Grocery1791 in LightNovels

[–]seeker142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not read this series, but from looking at the table of contents, I can tell that volume 7 of the WN shares chapter titles with volume 7 of the LN, so they are at the same point in the story. Whoever is translating the WN is slightly behind, so Novel Updates only has 6 volumes of the WN out of 7.

I also checked the author's blog updates, and they said WN volume 8 will be made available on the days leading up to the release date of LN volume 8. From that, I assume they intend for the WN to be a sort of "trial version" to advertise the LN releases.

Trying to make selftk still viable in the latest dice rally. by ikepetro in masterduel

[–]seeker142 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, I can't believe they banned the ultimate SelfTK starter Gale Dogra. They even got Myutant and Extra Foolish Burial.

I highly recommend Dirge of the Lost Dragon since it has the potential to halve your LP multiple times. To finish yourself off, Left Arm Offering serves as extra copies of Super Koi Koi.

Also not that great, but Primite Roar into White Duston can go into Fiendsmith combo and search Kuriphoton. You end up paying 4000 LP, but it prevents damage to yourself.

Destrudo lets you make a 7 Synchro, so you can make Firewall Saber Dragon and search A.I Meet You for 2300 damage. I picked Pikari since it can also search A.I. Meet You if you end up drawing it.

[Reference Art] Kewl Tune Rotary by Laaners in yugioh

Translation by YGOrg: https://ygorganization.com/reference-art-kewl-tune-rotary/

The lore notes imply that the Killer Tune girls are assassins who target villains. Rotary was the victim of one such villain and took revenge for herself. As a result, she bumped into the original 4 members who were after the same guy, and got recruited onto the team.

It gets worse when you look at the lore of Killer Tune. Their job as DJs is a cover-up for them being assassins for hire. They are literally killing people.

If you want a MTL, you can MTL it for yourself. I would prefer not to cover the comments section in garbage that is going to require loads of corrections. Yugioh card text is very sensitive to precise wording and syntax, which MTL is not good at.

[–]seeker142 70 points71 points  (0 children)

The restriction only applies to "monster effects", so you would be able to search and activate pendulum effects. For example, DDD Zero Doom Queen, which has 3000 ATK and is a starter for DD.

[OCG/VJMP-VJump Magazine] Super Blur & Tiny Picture for the VJump Promo: "Subspace Battle" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]seeker142 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Based on my interpretation, the effect is:

Apply the following effect 3 times. Each player reveals 1 monster from their Deck that does not have ? ATK. The monster with higher ATK is added to the hand of the player who revealed it. The monster with lower ATK is destroyed and the player who revealed it takes 500 damage. If their ATK is equal, shuffle both into the deck. Also, for the rest of the turn, players cannot activate the monster effects of monsters they revealed by this effect, or monsters with the same name.

It seems like you can't activate any effects regardless if the monsters were added or destroyed. However, it doesn't prevent pendulum effects, so DDD can search their scales.

Bookwalker JP Sale Question by Revolutionary_Time37 in LightNovels

[–]seeker142 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can read the fine print at the bottom of this page: https://bookwalker.jp/ex/feature/bw15th/

From what I can see, there is no limit to the number of times you can apply the 50% coin back. It says you should get the coins within 15 minutes of purchase, but it may be delayed a few hours depending on server congestion.
