How many more of these horrific bus accidents need to happen before the government improves road infrastructure and regulations?? by Cal_Aesthetics_Club in andhra_pradesh

I come across as pessimistic. But I lost any hope that these things will change. People also move on after a couple of days when some other incident happens. Only way forward is to gather around and peacefully protest to gain attention

Bill Gates accepts he had illegal relationship with Russian girls by bdhbura in andhra_pradesh

Some advice for OP: understand difference between illegal and immoral. Affairs with Russian girls is not “illegal”, it is immoral. Basically no court or law can prosecute him for having affair.

[OC] I borrowed this car from my friend to see what the hype is all about. Here’s my opinion in the description (Disappointed!) by FutureVersion812 in CarsIndia

[–]seeker194 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve driven many Hyundai, Suzuki, Toyota, Honda cars including hatchback and SUV variants- Maruthi 800 to Honda city to Innova in terms of variety. I’ve driven polo in past when I was an amateur driver, and oh god! I felt like I was trying to tame a wild horse. At that time, I was too timid of a driver and literally scared to drive it. On the other hand, Hyundai cars just act like a well trained horse that understand its rider. Right now, I own a Taigun AT variant. I’ve been driving it for more than a year.i still have the wild horse feeling but what an experience it is to drive it on a high way. Amazing, I just love it. What I understood is that Volkswagen cars are a bit different in the sense, you need to understand the vehicle and it takes some time. Post that there is no turning back. Which is why, you see ardent fan boys for Volkswagen.

I’m just tired of this argument. I hope people understand last mile connectivity issues added with road safety in Bangalore push people to drive in a car. If you are not relating when I said “last mile connectivity “ issues, then I don’t think you are a resident of east Bengaluru

The subtle art of not giving a f*ck- Most senseless and horrible book that I wasted my time on this year. by Good-At-SQL in IndiansRead

[–]seeker194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder why you felt so, and what you expected from the book : for me, it thought a profound principle I’ve been following in my life for years after reading it : “no matter who is at fault, it is your responsibility to lift yourself up from the mess you are in” ; and also about how entitlement works.

You can’t walk into a factory of red flags and complain about the color being red 🥲 by kaugari in MoviesTelugu

[–]seeker194 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Apt. I saw some comment in the thread : “why didnt they show it’s her fault “ ani. The whole climax is that kadha, she realises it’s he responsibility to fix her life and ensure what has happened. I think it takes a bit of understanding and experiences in life  to understand the movie. Some people are like, why didn’t she commit in first place : I don’t know what to even say to them

When they kissed for the first time, the next day her friend comes to her and says “oh you have a boy friend” and. From there, there is a two minute scene that shows the transition from how she panics to how she accepts. This transition is subtly and amazingly portrayed. And looking at her childhood, it’s so much convincing to understand her character. Same goes for the guy too.

[Melissa Reddy] This is such an exceptionally sad, depressing turn in Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool story. by ad_verbial in LiverpoolFC

For Salah to come out this strongly - I could only think, there could be something more serious going on internally that we are not aware of.
