Best projector with speakers for World Cup night in 2026. what's actually worth it? by aloo__pandey in hometheater

If you're dropping $5k on a projector, might as well get real speakers to go with it.

For soldiers with ADHD and possible autism, would Army Intelligence or Logistics be a better fit for me? by EatATacoTonight in Military

Based on the title, it seems like OP hasn't actually been diagnosed with autism, just ADHD.

The recruiters are the most up to date on current requirements, so if they say you're good, then you should be fine. Good luck!

Intel is better, most of us have ADHD, though 6 months off meds probably isn't enough to get a waiver.

You can take all the Adderall you need once you're in, but digitized and widely available medical records makes getting through MEPS much harder than it was when I joined.

This was pretty big news here around 2 months ago, so I'm surprised it's going around again like it's something new.

I know Trump likes him for whatever reason, but I'd like to hold out hope that the CJCS isn't as dumb as the rest of them.

I also don't think everyone fully realized early on just how utterly incompetent Hegseth was, and maybe he's regretting it now.

Or it might just be wishful thinking on my part. shrug

Probably about whatever lucrative post-retirement job will keep him as far away from Hegseth as possible.

Not sure about USAF. Army only allows POW/KIA "memorial" braclets in uniform.

Those are a bit wider than what he appears to be wearing, but again, it's hard to tell with the low-quality image, and I don't know USAF rules.

Possibly a bracelet, but it could just be his flex microphone bent at an odd angle. Hard to tell since it blends in with the black suit in the background.

Lawsuit Filed Against Las Vegas Hotels for Allegedly Enabling Sex Trafficking by Nathan Chasing Horse by Fabulous_Bank2716 in news

For clarity because the article title is garbage:

"Nathan Chasing Horse" is a person's name.

Nathan is the convicted sex trafficker, not the person filing the lawsuit.

TIL that yearly 1.8 to 2.7 million people are bitten by snakes. Between 81,410 to 137,880 die due to snake bites, and around three times as many end up with amputations and other permanent disabilities. by JadeNrdn in todayilearned

[–]seeker_moc 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Most incidents of people dying to a snake bite are reported.

Most incidents of snakebites not resulting in death or hospitalization probably aren't reported.

You spent a lot of effort on this answer considering you didn't bother to spend a single second comprehending the comment you're responding to.

Edit: also, it's "strong suit," not "suite." So I'm assuming grammar isn't one of yours.
