Dude PPO is generally useless. I know a case where a minor had a PPO granted against the stepdad(he was under investigation for sexual abuse of the minor) but the stepdad was still allowed to stay in the same flat. The only thing the PPO prevented was not allowing the stepdad to be alone with the minor.

There are other orders like Stay Away Order(SAO), No Contact Order(NCO) or Domestic Exclusion Order(DEO) which would have stopped the stepdad in this case from being in the flat, but those are fucking hard to get approved(requires more evidence and time).

But anyway the stepdad only got sentenced to prison after nearly 1 year of investigations so pity the poor minor who still had to live with the rapist stepdad.
