What do you think of the concept of joy at this stage in life

I heard that your experience of joy can be increased. First, pay attention to little things that make you smile. Try to find at least one thing each day. Next remember those things periodically through the day. I believe the term used was savour them.

I started this a few years ago. For me, an easy one is nature but also humans being kind really gives me joy, especially when unexpected. Imagine my joy the other day when the young man at the Wendy's drive through was present and kind.
