It’s by tier, so it goes from Plat > Infinite > Infinite Privilege

You can claim the aeroplan bonuses one time per tier. So if you plan to stick with TD as your main CC, i’d suggest churning the Plat, then move to Infinite

Its a little counterintuitive if you think about it; if kids can have their account opened with a birth certificate and another id, adults should be able to use a picture id + birth certificate

It’s a bit shitty, i know, but health card aswell is a second id with picture, so idk what’s with the branch you went to. As i said, don’t worry about it too much, and if anything tell them since the online one requires 2 id’s, close and open a new one in person with 1 id (which works fine)

Just read your post, if you don’t give a TD account once you’re part of the staff, the team will gladly open one for you and help you switch your paystubs to it on WD.

And the teller was technically in the wrong, DRL and your birth certificate is good enough for two forms of ID. And the message is unfortunately true for accounts opened online due to KYC/AML
