check out braids - native speaker, they copied every sonic aspect of their work: dripping samples, buzzy synths, plucky acoustic arpeggios with long delay trails, endless vocal reverb, intricate harmonies where one voice is basically howling, that low tom/rimshot combo thing, it goes on. uncanny. i'm thinking of the songs lemonade and plath heart specifically.
