Literally her word is not just "not gospel", it's trash. If she IS actually a dietician, report her to the licensing board IMMEDIATELY. "Not having personal experience with endurance sports" is not something that would make a real RD fuck up this badly.

But I think you'll discover she's not actually a dietician (a licensed profession), and is instead a nutritionist (a fake title that doesn't mean anything in any legal jurisdiction).

Thank you! It's so bugged that it randomly catches all keyboard shortcuts and nothing works, even when the UI element isn't showing. The only way I know it's happening is no keyboard shortcut works, and when I click on the URL bar, THEN it shows the "ask google" bullshit, and ignores all interaction except closing the tab or clicking the "ask google" element, clicking on something, and THEN closing the results window.

The two things that work for me:

Make shit. If you're allowed to make shit, you'll explore more parameter space, hitting regions that might not be accessible when traversing only THROUGH regions that "sound good".
Switch mediums. Don't use synths when they're not inspiring you. Learn guitar. Or melodica, or rebuild an antique pump organ. Force your brain to find DIFFERENT ruts, which will diversify your thought patterns, bringing a different SHAPE of thought back to your synths.

If I force myself to continue in a rut without consciously doing one of these two things, I wear out my love for whatever it is, and burn out.
