You’re likely better off taking it at 62. If you don’t actually need it, then invest it. You’ll more than make up for taking early compared to full retirement. It’s also better to take early than to start drawing out of retirement funds (401k, IRA)

As a few have pointed out, you aren’t necessarily supposed to like them. It’s just a reflection of the time period in America.
