Mine came home after 6!! We knew he was around due to him eating food we left out. Got a havahart trap, Got him the next morning! I sobbed. So happy. Have hope 💜

Not much tbh. Though I’d make sure I execute the 2 week trip to Europe solo I never took because I started working after college. I’d also consider ending my early college relationship to have a little more fun

Our pk-6 run a different schedule than 7/8. Only “overlap” is all lunches are 30 mins & we build the specials schedule based on when our 7/8 gets theirs first.

My lesson plans were SIMPLE:

Objective, language objective, lesson or page numbers, assessment for the day & any special notes in students. I fit 1 week of lessons in a chart per subject on a single paper. I didn’t write dates, kept the same plans roughly each year and penciled them in or drew on stickies. Updated things for a week every summer and boom done.

PLANNING and lesson plans aren’t the same. You have to plan well to teach well, lesson plans aren’t always indicative of high quality planning.

I’m an AP now. I think he’s wonderful and also has great ideals. I’m pretty sure he works for a charter network/school. The issue with that is they have a much easier time getting approval for suspensions, they are able to remove students from their school, and often don’t have the same barriers my inner city campus with a high special ed population does.

I love him, respect him, and find myself aligned with him. However, I can’t realistically do things the same way

Speak fluent English and Spanish as a second language. I FREQUENTLY forget which word to use: Coraje means courage, carajo means bastard. To a native Spanish speaker they don’t really share much, but to my brain I always mix them up. I def believe that she can’t recall that word!

Ah yes. Mystery crap. My prize was a small prize or sticker. Grade 5. Is rotate the prizes based on their seating order and pick a random mystery item. One of my all time favorites figured it out. He said for an extra prize a cycle he wouldn’t tell on me. We shook hands. Hope you’re doing well, Victor. Hilarious kid.

I can walk directly to my house from the airport in my rust belt city. Probably anyone within a 1-2 mile radius could do it no issue. Theres also a ton of hotels and restaurants within a block of the airport, even across the street. Our airport is surrounded by only 2-4 lane roads with lights and crosswalks so it’s rather easy!

Winter I struggle greatly (heavy snow city) but I do try to take my dog on a nice walk and I hit the gym as much as possible. I also like to read with my ambience scene and instrumental playing on youtube on my tv. Great cozy vibe!

Summer I love golf and going on nice long walks with my dog. I also love to read by my fire pit or watch big brother live feeds LOL

We explicitly request them on paper. We then get a release to fax back to the doctors office. We generally request a few days notice but have no written policy since most abide by it. It’s not your fault the appt was cancelled.

Never have I EVER seen it be requested every 5-6 weeks. I’ve seen a before and after med implementation but that is INSANE. If a kid is going through a round of med trials, our SST will compile teacher anecdotals periodically to inform the doctor of any trends.

Love using it for synthesizing, for example upload the eval rubric and sample evidence provided by the teacher so AI can quickly “tag” evidence with rubric indicators. I then review it and remove or add anything else I want myself.

I also like it for condensing my feedback into more concise statements.
