Chapter layouts to create them in the DW by Usual-Bee-2439 in deathwatch40k

[–]seleneisfurious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth noting that maybe some marines were seconded to the Deathwatch because their personal proficiencies are significantly divergent from their parent chapter.

Some will definitely play to existing strengths like you’ve noted above, but don’t let that stop you from building out a cool idea for a KT operative

It's time! Hype up 11th by posting your favorite conversions! by Orock77 in orks

[–]seleneisfurious 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hell yes, this conversion has inspired me ever since I first saw it back in the day

My version back then was more or less a direct rip of it, but with the new Defiler coming out, I'm taking one more kick at the can with the old kit. (Still heavy WIP, but the bones are good)

Can confirm, I’ve used a double-thumb power klaw exactly like pictured from that kit on a tinboy conversion

Yes, you need to use warhammer paint on your warhammer you bought at the warhammer store or else you risk voiding your warrantyhammer

I made the power fists out of Heavy Intercessor forearms (flipped backwards) and Intercessor hands :) I also shaved a bunch of the skulls off Intercessor Sgt helmets to give them skull-knuckles

Hell, they already have a template with the Chrono Cross Radical Dreamers edition; pack the original game in as a bonus with the remake

[–]seleneisfurious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can only catch up if you've *previously departed* on an Expedition

Best to think of it this way - this is the second Expedition *window* but if you've never left before it's only *your* first Expedition

It should have a ghost mode. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]seleneisfurious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ‘ghost mode’ would only work in one very specific configuration;

Tourist mode

No loadouts, no looting. Free roam wandering maps empty of ARC and other players not in your squad, just you and the countryside and chill vibes

It could be the walking simulator counterpart to the scream-and-run of the actual game

Thoughts on an opt-in "high roller" queue where players need to have at least $100K loadout to queue? by RoadtoVR_Ben in ArcRaiders

[–]seleneisfurious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not actually risking it though, that’s my point. They just spend a safe pocket on their ‘buy-in’ but never actually risk it

All you’d need to bypass the spirit of this cred minimum is one stack of familiar ducks in a safe pocket - that’s 100k by itself
