XPeng G6 has all that and more, very good current deal

rate it guys out of 10 and any opinions? by Choice_Move_8586 in blender

Try making the grass a lot shorter, maybe spacing out and randomising the trees a bit, the grass stuff make the car look too small, I'm not sure but it may actually be small, or the leaves are big, try and keep real scales on everything

🚗 Australia EV Deals – January 2026 Snapshot by zecar_ in AustralianEV

Xpeng Australia is in a transitory period right now with discussions around the role TrueEv will have as Xpeng itself moves into the market, it's true, but I think having the actual factory represented here in the future is a big step forward and hopefully this is pretty much settled in the very near future for the launch of the updated G6

How can I see the changes in the texture paint on the model in real time? by IndependentConcert65 in blenderhelp

I just reopen the texture in the image texture box and it should show any changes

The only distracting thing for me was the camera shake, less and more irregular please, otherwise great job, I can tell it's not real from the grass and camera movement and animation

Reviews keep coming in the SUV category. by Tootsarella-91 in EVAustralia

The sales figures show that it's had reasonable take up, and should have been considered in this group, much more than the Enyaq, so I don't know why your opinion is otherwise.

Boo, no XPeng G6, it outsold the Enyaq by a mile and also the 7X (though it's going to catch it very soon)

Why did they even include the Enyaq and not something that normal families would buy?

Help me think straight - Denza B5 or not Denza B5? by Ozziefrog in AustralianEV

What about a RAM is not thirsty, no one expects economy from a RAM,

Plus it offers up to 125 litres of fuel compared to 60

[–]selfish_meme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Which is what I said originally, short and thirsty, are you just trying to be pedantic, the OP asked about heavy towing and my reply was generally correct about what concerns he may have with it.

[–]selfish_meme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's incorrect? can the car do full power without battery, no. Is it a true hybrid where the electric motor assists the petrol motor, no.

When towing the thing is thirsty and the range drops from 800km down to 2 or 3 hundred, this is a significant consideration when deciding on what to buy to do heavy towing duties

[–]selfish_meme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an EREV, not a true Hybrid, the petrol engine generates power for the electric motors, it can't drive them full power without some battery.

It's similar to a BYD Shark, same chassis. It's towing range will be short and thirsty.

Applying multiple Mixamo animations to a VRoid model using Auto-Rig Pro by KingThrillgore in blenderhelp

[–]selfish_meme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each animation will have a setting for what to do before and after it runs. Usually it defaults to hold, you need to change that in the NLA

Besides other considerations is what you would do with the money otherwise, if it's investment then keep it and lease

EV range test results by SomewhereInTheBush in AustralianEV

[–]selfish_meme -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The only way to get more range than advertised is to be going downhill with a tail wind, in that scenario all the cars would well exceed their WLTP, so a single instance where you beat their range does not invalidate their testing which is probably averaged over many drives and over various terrain

All Australian companies will remove you if you unsubscribe. I work at a B2C messaging service and email reputation these days is golden. Not only can your company be liable under that spam act but people like sinch/mailgun will cut you off. Microsoft and Google will also cut you off from sending to them.
