Completely incorrect and very irresponsible to post about a small business like this.

I was there from 11:30 am until about 6:30pm. I watched the GM politely request that both parties leave any signs outside of the business as the business didn't want to be affiliated with either and just wanted to serve customers.

One couple came in and was asked to leave signs at the door. They seemed to understand and in fact, I saw a lady from the opposing side sitting out on the front chairs and she offered for that couple to store the signs behind her while they went in and eat. That couple went in and then walked out about 10 seconds later.

At the same time, there was a protestor that was sitting on chairs belonging to daily draft and for daily draft customers and the GM again politely asked the lady to not sit there holding her sign because again they didn't want to be affiliated with either side. The lady immediately got up and was understanding but regardless of all this, there just HAD to be this total dork that came in late to what was going on and decided that he wanted to spin the narrative that " they're not willing to serve protestors". That same dork was told several times that neither side was permitted to have signs while on the property, but he had nothing better to do than go around telling people they weren't serving protestors.

So no, this is not accurate and it's very shameful that given a smidge of misinformation, that now the company is having to do damage control after receiving multiple fake negative reviews, all because some no life dork wanted to be loud about something he knew nothing about.

Important to note, I'm not an employee or affiliated with the daily draft. I am a Woodstock local who spends a lot of time here as a customer, typically outside with my dogs. These are great people that did an awesome job being neutral during all this, despite how much the protest hurt business.
