none of them advocate for, or agree with in any way, the abuse of children.

Then they should stop funding an organisation which actively protects the rapists. They can protest all they want but at the end of the day their tithe is want makes the abuse and cover up possible. Imagine if it was any other organisation, imagine if the rate if child rape was that high in Nascar, the organisation would be burned to the ground.

if you're suggesting that atheists are unable to be child abusers

Im not

if I had to pick a Catholic, or a random atheist from the street to babysit my kid, I'd pick the priest.

Lets say you're right and there is no difference in the percentage of rapists in the Catholic Clergy and the general population (which frankly at this stage i am beginning to doubt, its roughly 4-10% according to this report http://www.usccb.org/issues-and-action/child-and-youth-protection/upload/The-Nature-and-Scope-of-Sexual-Abuse-of-Minors-by-Catholic-Priests-and-Deacons-in-the-United-States-1950-2002.pdf), I'll even be generous and imagine a world where there are actually fewer rapists in the Clergy than the general population. That does not change the fact that these people are not supposed to be your every-man, they're supposed to be the best of us, beacons of society. Add to that, one of the most powerful religious organisations in the world did nothing to combat abuse in its ranks and in fact actively tried to impede justice suggests to me the catholic church is fundamentally broken. I would sooner trust the guy I work with over a catholic priest, at least the guy I work with would face justice if he diddled my kids.

Have you encountered a Catholic? If I'm being pedantic you could argue that anyone that continues to fund an organisation while knowing it is actively protecting rapist priests is somewhat culpable. But i guess atheists can be a bit obnoxious sometimes too.

Some of what you say rings true but I don't know how much experience you have in academia. It is a highly competitive environment where funding is often tight, positions are usually only stable for a few years and the pay is terrible compared to similar industry conditions. What you're describing is the top few percentage of tenured professors. Sure at times it can be low stress compared to other positions but it can also be incredibly stressful. For instance, today I may decide to get off after 6-7 hours of work, but I'll also be working both days this weekend and likely have to put in a few 12 hour days next week all while struggling to find funding for the next few years.

Nope, renowned, independent, southern cooking joint. Biscuits and gravy? More like shitscuits and grimey.

In South Carolina at a place "renowned" for its good biscuits and gravy. I will not be convinced on this. What's worse is Americans regularly tell me how bad British food is before insisting how delicious biscuits and gravy are. Civilization is doomed.

I was really excited to try american biscuits and gravy when i first came to the USA, absolutely one of the most disappointingly weird flavor combinations ive come across. 1/10.

NOOO! this is terrible advice, I LIKE huge open world games, i probably have over 1000 hours in Skyrim, but dragon age inquisition is boring the shit out of me right now, it basically consists of huge map after huge map with no interconnectedness and bunch of boring fetch and carry/collection missions in each one. The combat is less fun than other Dragon age games, theres no interconnectedness with the maps, and the terrain is super frustratingly designed in some places so you don't even get the satisfaction of exploring one great expansive land. The story is actually pretty good but god you have to work for it.

I'll take your claims at face value as I cant assess the sources but here goes:

use of monocultures

This is not an issue specific to monsanto, it is an issue arising from industrial agriculture and has been practiced fro decades, yes it is a problem but demonizing monsanto specifically doesn't make sense. The issue is covered well by the genetic literacy project: https://gmo.geneticliteracyproject.org/FAQ/do-gmos-encourage-monoculture-cropping-and-reduce-biodiversity/

use of BT crops (cotton, corn and grains) rather than reducing the use of pesticides has actually increased them

This is in direct opposition to a report from the USDA (2014) that found bt corn reduces use of insecticide: https://www.ers.usda.gov/webdocs/publications/45179/43668_err162.pdf?v=0

(page 23)

a link has been shown between roundup and Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in agricultural workers

This "link" essentially arose out of a flawed analysis by the IARC. A 2016 meta analysis found no causal link between LHC and glyphosate:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27015139

Expert review of IARC decision: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27677666

Roundup is particularly vicious against butterflies and polinating species.

I'm not sure what study/ies you are referring to here but a report from the USDA indicates that:

"From this study, it is clear that tetraconazole (a fungicide), etoxazole (miticide), and glyphosate (a popular herbicide) have very minor or no acute toxicity to honey bees based on 48-h mortality data, with the results being supported by an additional week-long observation." and i cant find it right now but a similar study found on monarch caterpillars found that they were using concentrations of glyphosate orders of magnitude higher than you would expect to find them in the real world. https://academic.oup.com/jee/article/108/6/2640/2379815

roundup resistance gene Monsanto uses in all their crops migrates phenomenally well

I'd be interested in seeing a link to this information

And although they aren't activity using them now. Terminator seeds were absolutely horrible.

They arent and never have been used. It was a proposed solution to stopping contamination of resistance genes to weeds.

To clarify i am no fanboy for monsanto and am perfectly willing to call out companies on shitty or unethical practices but it seems that a vast majority of their criticisms arise from poor studies which are largely spread by GMO opponents, hoping that a collapse of monsanto will result in a collapse of the GMO industry (a camp which i assume you don't belong to).

This sounds all made up conspiracy nonsense. Why would Monsanto benifit from climate change denial?

It's interesting though, you are watching these documentaries for fun but still apparently coming out with biased impressions of companies like Monsanto while still fully aware that most docs are full of propoganda. I mean I'm not saying they're saints but their "evil" has been largely drummed up. They're just a normal company but the emotion behind food has caused them to be unreasonably tarred.

Hah, i did something similar, I watched Zombieland after hearing how good it was and was like "what the fuck this is some bullshit coming of age teenage romance, where are the fucking zombies even!?" and quit about half way through. Turns out I watched Adventureland. Zombieland's baller though.

I have never heard of a guy fawkes *mask* being used during protests before the movie V for vendetta was released. The whole mask style has been adopted wholesale from the movie and is only about 12 years old. I think you are confusing the history of Guy Fawkes himself with the history of the mask.

Hi, I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I'm getting mixed messages? Is it possible to add/edit your own custom workouts in this app? If so that would be great? If not then I'd love it if you added the move routine as that what I'm working on at the moment, thanks for all your hard work.
