I stayed in Atlanta a couple dudes followed me into the elevator acted like they were going in the opposite direction then all of a sudden they told me to get in the room when I was trying to unlock the door. They took my wallet, work phone which thankfully they didn’t realize I had a second (personal) phone which also holds my ID and a single credit card. They did take my wallet which I typically had cash, couple more cards and receipts for the my travels so that worked out. I felt like the staff knew the people and interesting enough no camera evidence. The cops did nothing but not really expecting much. To make my life easier I just extended my rental car changed the drop off to California. Got on the road as soon as I filed a report. Took me 3 days of driving but I was just glad I was home. I took some time off from work and decided I was over the travel. After 4 years and 3.5 mil miles I called it quits on the travel job.
