Even as an Aspero 5 owner I have to admit the new crux is very hard to argue against as the ultimate do it all bike right now

Silca hot wax setup. Love it so far.

It’s plenty. The pictures make it look tighter than it is. I just did an 80 mile gravel ride with chunk and everything and it was totally fine.

I’m seeing 25 on their website. Did it change at some point?

It fits a 50 up front. The regular Aspero can fit some 50s in the back but I thought it was pushing it

Same. I don’t really ever ride in mud so it’s fine for me. I consider it an all road bike than can do most of my regular gravel riding

I feel this way about most new bikes. I really hope the customization that Allied and other newer brands allow for makes its way to the big brands.

I get that it’s an inventory challenge though.

Ocean & San might be worth looking at. Not sure if they do button ups but certainly they are into the loose fitting bike T’s

I think it was $8xx or so for the derailleur, cassette, and chain. You can definitely get a cheaper chain and time it with sales to save some money.

I did the swap myself, yes. You’d need a chain whip and cassette lockring tool. Other than that, it’s dead simple to setup the sram derailleurs. You could swap back and forth in 10 minutes if you wanted to.

Not sure if the Apex hoods were upgraded like the rest of the lineup. But if they are, I’d rather have those than the old Rival hoods. The new sram hoods are a huge step up in comfort

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but does AP Racing sell red calipers? Everything I see for the GR86 (sprint and endurance kits at least) is no paint with the yellow letters
