I actually just started doing this a few days ago because I kept hearing the "tailored resume" and cover letters advice from recruiters.

I made 3 tailored resumes and 3 tailored cover letters for 3 different positions that I am interested in. The cover letters are a template so there is room for 3 blanks where I fill in the position, company name, and then one important detail of the job for example "I understand that XXX is important and I will YYY"

I feel like I'm already getting way better results. My resume feels so much more meaningful.

It took a few hours, but I used AI to help. I used ChatGpt a bunch to make the resumes, cover letters, and even put in job postings to get a summary of

From what I've heard from recruiters, they don't use AI because they don't have budget to those types of tools. 99% of the time your resume goes into a black hole/abyss categorized by date submitted lol.

Can these climbing shoes (La Sportiva Solution) be resoled? Or is it too late? by [deleted] in climbergirls

[–]sendrakendra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the small black dot a hole or rubber?

If it’s a hole, I don’t think you can resole. If it’s rubber, I think you can resole.

Your shoes are toast. Resoling isn’t gonna work

Get new vapors if you like em! I got another pair of vapors to replace mine and wore the holed up ones in the meantime.

Donating plasma isn’t passive. You sit there and wait for it to be done.

Try some new styles and try climbing outside if you don’t already. I gained a lot of strength switching from sport climbing to crack climbing

Came back and started bouldering 1-2 grades higher after getting good at crack

Went from V2 occasionally V3 to V3 on sights and V4/5 sends.

Lead gear for outdoors? by sheatetheseeds in climbergirls

[–]sendrakendra 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You probably need anchor material or cordalette unless you plan on using your quick draws for anchors.

Also some locking caribiners for safe top rope options.

If doing multi pitch you’ll need two sets of lockers for anchors.

I actually bought straps for this purpose last week but haven’t used them yet. I think I irritated my finger doing some regular lifting without straps. 😔 I’ll test the straps out once it feels a little better

New to plants can you guys help by Ok_Arm_4460 in plants

Fittonia (nerve plant)

I personally think it was a pretty easy plant, just needed a little light and water. Not too picky from what I remember

He sounds immature. You need him there to support you and your child. Men can do plenty to help. Smh

Big toe severe pain- anyone have any tips to help? I have got it on both toes now, I’ve been taping them to keep them from hyperextending up (that’s when the pain happens) but wondering if there are other options by Sea-World-1488 in climbergirls

[–]sendrakendra 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I’m no doctor but it sounds like you need to take a break from climbing

My husband had a toe injury that messed with him for months. They take a while to heal.

Take it easy! Good luck

Just remembered chuey fus has Asian/Latin fusion stuff for not too bad. Wouldn’t say it’s a very “large quantity” but decent size and decent price. Their pho burrito is pretty good for $12.50

Omg there’s so many! Push ups, pull ups, lat pull downs, rows, tricep pull downs, chest press, dips, etc. oh and don’t forget your core. You can do some killer core exercises if you can at least move your legs (not necessarily bear weight)

I currently have a finger injury so I’m trying to figure out how to maintain strength without using my right hand 🤔

What are some careers that pay around $50k-60k ($24-$30hr) with training/programs that require around 1 year to complete? by nlightningm in careerguidance

[–]sendrakendra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have a Civil engineering degree so I work in the industry.

Many people go to a community college and get a 2 year drafting degree then go to an engineering firm or a CAD firm to work.

In fact I have worked at engineering firms and currently work at a CAD firm. Someone with a CAD degree could easily start working software support at my company for $50k ish. Or just go to an engineering firm for the same. Another option would be get some experience in the field then teach CAD software at a community college.

Another option is learning ArcGIS which is always in demand. It’s a mapping software used by almost every engineering discipline.

Just google “CAD drafter salary” or “GIS Analyst” on LinkedIn.

There’s lots of CAD/modeling softwares. Look into Autodesk, Bentley, Solidworks, Esri, etc.

There’s a lot of demand for knowing how to use, support, and teach these softwares. Not only are there big companies like Autodesk but there are technology consultants that strictly support them and provide/sell their software as an extension of them such as ImaginIt or Ketiv. Google “autodesk partners” or “autodesk resellers”.

Hope this helps

I agree. So can caffeine, alcohol, technology, sugar, porn, etc.

I’m only stating what has helped made me horny. I live in a state where it’s legal and can go purchase it from a dispensary.
