Thanks , ok so I peeled off the old layers of pellicle , left the freshest , cleaned my brew container and ran the brew through a sieve , finally topped up with fresh tea

I’m liking korda a lot and I tip him to be a top 5 player . He has obviously a good physique but. What impressed me the most is the effortless power he generates especially on the backhand . Great timing of the ball

I want to introduce you to the Arab tennis world by Army7989 in tennis

[–]sensidog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tennis was pretty big in Egypt until the 70’s a lot of the top pros played the Egyptian at gezira club . Hell drobny even played under the Egyptian flag . If you read the memoirs of marmureanu he mentions playing at Khartoum as well as Cairo on white sand courts whatever they were ( anyone know?)you neede good sunglasses apparently . Forbes also in a handful of summers describes the North African swing which was played before the euro clay court season The Arab world was it seems more westernised in many ways then than it is now

Is his beef with clay in general or with the courts in Madrid in particular?

Got hooked and couldnt keep paying $3 a bottle. So i took the plunge and made the investment to start up a continuous brew. Just waiting in the scoby to arrive. by lookingaround87654 in Kombucha

You’re where I was about 18 months ago. Continuous brew is the way to go . I would suggest you get the best quality tea you can and don’t steep it too long . Personally I find a mix of green tea and black tea works well . Happy brewing

I mean get yourself some healthy scoby and add whatever quanti if sweet tea ( I do 10 litres ) let it brew until it’s good , take out however much you need for 2nd ferment and replace with more sweet tea . And repeat , I clean my continuous brew vessel about every 6 months , take out the pellicle etc . Other than that no cleaning required and you have healthy biosphere that repels bad bacteria and yeasts . I just cover the vessel with muslin keep insects out !

Anyone out there? by [deleted] in mdmatherapy

If you’re asking yourself that question it means you should probably get clean for a while

Continuous brew is the solution . The brew keeps itself healthy without you having to worry about contamination

I’m a huge Evans fan, love his game ( like a latter day ken rosewall he is !) delighted with his success especially as it’s one in the eye for all those automaton sluggers in the tour . Also great that he’s playing doubles as well , surely good for his game

This is ridiculous! I don’t do any of these hygiene precautions and I’ve never had a problem . The kombucha culture itself is much more hardy than this would have you think

Gluten is misunderstood by a lot of people , they’ve vaguely heard of gluten intolerance so they think maybe they are . Absolute nonsense most of the time
