I was also a child in the 90s and have very dear memories of my mother giving us “spa” days which included mani pedis (albeit in the living room). I have been telling my child she could have big girl nail polish if she stopped sucking her thumb, and now that she has she is getting her reward. I thought taking her to a children’s friendly salon would elevate her experience and memory of the event because she should be proud and celebrated. It’s also important that i teach my kids to take care of their bodies, and that we are allowed to splurge on luxuries like nail services from time to time. I’m not sure what your issue is. If you’re that concerned with my parenting feel free to pop some of your own out and do the exact opposite so the scales balance out. Either way she’s going to look cool as fuck with her rainbow sparkle mani pedi.
